Staff were very friendly and made us feel very welcome. Chef Emrah was especially helpful and spoke good English which made everything from ski hire to special requests much smoother. Staff went above and beyond to help, offering rides to/from the hotel to the ski lifts (which is usually just a 2 minute walk), took on suggestions for breakfast/dinner options, and accommodated late checkout. Staying at Balsoy was like staying at a second home, highly recommend.

New, modern hotel. Rooms were comfortable and clean, with nice view at mountains. Professional and welcoming staff. Breakfast and buffet dinner were excellent. There is a shopping center next door.

A wonderful place to stay in Erzurum. The manager was so friendly and helpful. I really appreciate that they had breakfast ready early for me so I could get my bus to Georgia. The room was spotless and very comfortable. I wish I could have stayed in Erzurum longer. Just perfect.

The staff is simply amazing. I arrived very early in the morning, I was so tired after spending the night in Istanbul Airport and they offered me tea and breakfast and gave me immediately the keys of the room to allow me to rest. They were so kind to explain to me what to do and where to go, and we spent some quality time talking about a lot of super interesting things. The structure is clean and quiet.
