There are many layers of history in Istanbul. It has very interesting major sites such as the Basilica Cistern, Haya Sofia, Topkapi Palace.I also loved the diversity of the neighborhoods we visited, the fantastic food, the outdoor dining and the energy of the place. Corlu is fine but not a tourist place. I was visiting friends. You are asking all these things but give no possibility of actually talking to you to get the problems we had sorted. The people of Avcilar are very nice, friendly and helpful. I felt safe walking around by myself even in the evening. It’s not very touristy which was nice. However that does mean that there’s not a lot of people who speak English, however everyone is willing to make it work with gestures and Google translate. Nature walks, a lot of nice places to enjoy the beautiful scenery of valleys and mountains, Sapancha is a very nice place to spend a couple of good long days with the family and kids or with your partner.
