- From $421.87 per nightScored out of 10, guest rating 8.3Very Good - What previous guests thought, 641 reviewsFrom the start until the end, Club Paradise never disappoint us. Land & boat transfer was smooth, we were welcomed by Noel when we first landed and I can already feel the warmth throughout our journey to the island. Room: Our sunset villa was really nice. The room was nicely designed and we had surprise swan & crab deco in our room from time to time throughout our stay. The only thing that I can say which will else make our stay perfect is if in any of our 4 nights there, we were able to watch sunset from our room. But I know this is at no point was the resort's fault, as we were quite unlucky to check in just when typhoon passed so the weather was not really on our side. Meals: For resort level especially their location in secluded island, their meals were surprisingly affordable compared to other resorts. Meals were fulfilling but I really love their Ovaltine drink and couldn't get enough of it. Activities: We booked our Coron tour through resort, and I will say that this is the best tour that I've ever been to! For the price paid, we got boat and land transfer, in addition to private tour with a really helpful and knowledgeable guide. We also got freshly cooked lunch, and our guide even helped took pictures for us throughout the tour. 5 stars for the service! Other than that, the resort also offer free guided snorkerling around the island and we got to see 2 turtles during our morning snorkel. They also provide free kayak that you can use around the island. Service: I would like to express our gratitude towards everything that the resort staff did to ensure we had a really memorable stay. The kitchen team paid attention to our dietary restrictions and even prepared a separate meals so we can enjoy our dinner. I also remember that the hotel manager checked on us in the morning during breakfast to ensure our room was alright, and when I told them about the water pressure issue in the room, they sent someone to fix it right away.Guest review byNurshafiqahMalaysia
- Scored out of 10, guest rating 9.4Wonderful - What previous guests thought, 25 reviewsMy friend and I spent 4 nights at Lagen. The full experience was great from airport pick up (dedicated counter at airport) to the transfer to the island. The property has a great location; the rooms are well kept, the activities, the food, drinks but most of all the staff absolutely the best. One day we went to the big lagoon, we kayaked out way back to the boat, there were a few other boats, it was windy and there was current, somehow our kayak ended up under the proa of the hotel boat and with the waves we were afraid it would hit us in the head, another boat passed by so close and made more waves which made the situation more difficult, our Lagen guide didn’t hesitate to throw himself to the water to help us! we tried to find him later but this was the day before we checked out. Will anyone in the hotel help us find him? my friend and I are avid travelers, I live in UAE where hospitality has a high standard and to me El Nido Lagen is one of the best hotel I’ve stayed in my whole life! loved everyday of my holidayGuest review byCeciliaPeru
- Scored out of 10, guest rating 9.6Exceptional - What previous guests thought, 99 reviewsThis property was the highlight of our trip to the Philippines, by far the best! The arrival experience transported us to paradise! The grounds are so well kept, the team is super helpful and the view from our balcony overlooking the bay was just magical. Great service, amazing breakfast, lovely food and cocktails from the beach restaurant too, can't fault it! Special mention to the front office team, specifically Angel and Trisha, who did an excellent job at making us feel welcome and making our stay here a memorable one. Thank you so much guys, we loved staying at Maremegmeg, we'll be back!Guest review byOli LondonUnited Kingdom
- From $388.17 per nightScored out of 10, guest rating 8.9Excellent - What previous guests thought, 406 reviewsIt is secluded but you do not feel isolated. Only 8 huts/guest rooms makes it private. The breakfast is a la carte and with a Spanish take - really tasty and exceptional. Menu for lunch/dinner is varied and tasty. Great drinks. Staff is kind, warm and ready to make your stay special. Sunsets are breathtaking from upstairs restaurant or downstair bar which has a small infinity pool you can dip in and have a drink in. Panorama is a short 10 min ride on tricycle (local tuk tuk) if you want to explore town of El Nido. An island hopping day trip is a must.Guest review byPZ212United States

I came off an expedition, and literally did not leave the hotel the next day. The food is great, the staff is great, the massage was amazing, the pool was awesome, the rooftop bar and cocktails with hot tub are amazing as well! Complementary juices every day and baskets of cookies delivered at night. I want to stay in all of their locations. By far the best service and hotel I had in the entire month. Very quiet and clean.Guest review byjaimieUnited States

El Nido has so many fun things to do, and we liked that while there were a plentitude of tourist options, we were not separated from local culture and activities that sometimes happens in other places. We were only there for four days, and we could have stayed another week. The beaches are beyond stunning, both the ones you can walk to and the ones that need a boat. The snorkeling was fantastic, the food options endless, and the vibe was chill and fun.Guest review byMaryUnited States - 8.0

We didnt spend a lot of time in the Puerto itself sadly, given our resort was 90 minutes away but we made a couple of day trips and Puerto seems more relaxed & laid back than most cities in the Philippines with plenty of activities.Guest review byJulianQatar - 10.0

The calamian group of islands of which Coron is part of, is beautiful. And I hope all the measures to keep it pristine and unlittered will be successful always. There are many breathtaking sights. You would need a sizable budget though to be able to enjoy the boat tours which are wonderful. If you have the time, visit Culion. It is historical (a UNESCO site), and while the places to see could do a little tidying up, nevertheless, the history of that place invites reflection and inspires--many heroic people lived on that island. Kudos to the religious who have kept the place going since it was first established. The Culion museum should be your first stop.Guest review byGuiaPhilippines - 10.0
Absolutely!
Absolutely! San Vicente really flies under the radar compared to El Nido and Coron, but that’s part of its charm. It’s less crowded, more laid-back, and still boasts those stunning, unspoiled beaches—especially the 14-kilometer Long Beach, which feels like a hidden gem. The slower pace and warm, genuine hospitality from the locals really give it that authentic "island life" vibe. It’s perfect for people looking to relax, connect with nature, and avoid the more tourist-heavy scenes. Some even say it’s what El Nido felt like 10 or 15 years ago.Guest review bycesznadz39Philippines - 10.0

Every day I walked from the hotel to Sabang wharf on the beach and on one day had coffee, adobo and itlog in a small cafe there. Everyone was very friendly, and I bought some Pasalubong, when they did not have my tee shirt size, they went to another shop to get it for me and to get change when I gave them 1000 peso note. I asked directions to the falls, but no one was exactly sure where it was or how long it would take to get there. The place was secure (police station at the wharf and coastguard and army regularly on patrol in the area. I eventually found the park that a friend recommended (5 km from the hotel) and had an excellent buffet lunch there twice and again they made Chester very welcome, the park was free and had some interesting, recycled artworks and a tribute to the devastation in the area by Typhoon Odette- well worth a visit. Also visit Buenavista viewpoint- the local community run it and you can get Buko juice, coffee, snacks and Pasalubong plus take great photos of the bayGuest review byNeil in BahrainPhilippines - 10.0
If you're looking for a beautiful tropical island to visit,...
If you're looking for a beautiful tropical island to visit, put this one on your list. It's relatively uncrowded, the people are very pleasant and the vistas are jaw dropping. If you are a diver, and have an interest in WWII, you will find an incredible 11 Japanese wrecks to dive. I'd recommend Pirate Divers, they are very professional and very conservative when it comes to evaluating risks. They also know the wrecks like their second home. Coron is a bustling town with good food and pleasant people, but the beauty of the island is the back country. I liked it enough in December that I'm returning in February. To get around, I'd suggest renting a scooter. If you are new to powered two wheel vehicles stay out of Coron, and pay attention to the roads, there are some surprisingly tight turns. Otherwise, since it is relatively uncrowded you should be fine.Guest review byJimUnited States - 6.0

If you intend to visit Palawan you need to be more informed than I was. The Philippines are a poor country. Accommodation is cheap and as such you get what you paid for - No hot water, some cockroaches, you cannot swim in the water because of the jellyfish, plenty of sandflies and no shop to get any relief medication. There is no way to move around unless you organize transfers that cost you as much as your accommodation. A must see if you would like to see the culture. We were unable to snorkel due to weatherGuest review byKimAustralia - 10.0

The nature is incredibly beautiful, just be careful with what you eat or drink. Better to buy only mineral water. And try to avoid to eat the food which is included in the island hopping for your safety.Guest review byGirlieUnited Arab Emirates - 4.0

Rooms are spacious, big selection if breakfast, friendly hotel staff. Infinity pool is okay, could have a bit deeper though. The other pool is undergoing refurbishment. Island hoping are a must to do. We ate in the town where they served fresh sea food.I think its called Island boy Grill. Outside the hotel the tricycle ride are ideal to get round Coron town proper for merely 30 pesos.Guest review byAlma
