This comfortable guesthouse was perfectly positioned in Queenstown yet still quiet and relaxing. Breakfast was lovely and quite generous, the never-ending lolly bar was very welcome as was the free mini bar but the highlight was afternoon drinks - such a lovely opportunity to meet fellow guests over a wine or beer and delicious snacks. The team was very helpful and the facilities were excellent. Very convenient location to get the bus up to the mountain each day. The owner even droppped my ski boots to me at the airport after they were left in storage! Thanks for a lovely stay, we'll be back next year!

    The apartment was super close to the centre of town, with restaurants, shops, waterfront about 2-5mins walk away. The apartment was very clean with full kitchen facilities for cooking, if needed. We stayed at the 2 bedroom, 2 bathroom unit, and it was very spacious. 2 couples could stay here (otherwise it’s perfect for a family of 4-5. Parking was onsite and the staff were super helpful, even though we checked in a little later. I would stay here if visiting Queenstown again.

    City is nestled inside crown mountain and other mountainous ranges. Amazing views from the city . Lots of attractions for everyone - kids, teens and adults . Only downside is expensive to stay long and most activities have high cost. Skyline gondola with luge rides and Deer park heights were the best attractions. We enjoyed driving to Glenorchy as well with many stunning locations to stop by and take beautiful photographs. You get all types of quisine - Italian, Mexican, Japanese, Korean , Indian

    This is a great base for hiking Aspiring National Park.

    This is a great base for hiking Aspiring National Park. It is worth hunting out the less popular tracks such as Juday Track and Sugarloaf Pass as wellas the popular multi-day hikes: Greenstone, Caples, Routeburn and Rees- Dart, all of which are great but busy.

    It was close to the lake but about a 15 minute drive into Queenstown city centre so not really ideal if you plan on hitting the clubs constantly. You definitely need a car, it’s about $45 one way for an Uber. It was brilliant for taking nice like walks along the lake and chilling, reading etc.

All are stunning activities to do. While the weather forecast was dull at the time of my booking the trip in march, the actual weather was fantastic during our stay in the first week of October. Very less crowd too. Really enjoyed this trip as we headed to lake Tekapo after 7 days at

    Glenorchy is out of this world. Stunning. The road trip there is overwhelming and there are so many fabulous hikes. The wee village has a great hotel with really nice food and vegetarian friendly, same with Mrs Woolly's General Store and good coffee.

    We love visiting Queenstown - we particularly liked driving to Arrowtown and thrift store and consignment store shopping in Queenstown. Downtown Queenstown is beautiful along the lake and we had amazing Pad Thai from a local vendor.

    Small town. Great general store.

    Small town. Great general store. Cafe kitchens dont open till 12 so its just coffee n cabinet food till then. Epic views and good walks to do. Ate at Mr Glen's Taphouse - great coffee and cabinet food. Recommend walk around boardwalk and lagoon. Need a 4WD if going to Paradise - river crossings.
