Can actually walk there from the train without going outside at all, but the hotel did not tell us this and instead gave instructions to walk outside and reenter through the revolving doors (this was in winter). Room is good - everything works as expected. Has AC outlets next to the bed. Breakfast buffet was good and plentiful, but had the same menu every day. Would be better with some variety. Also plenty of tables in the train-themed restaurant with a nice city view. Laundry room has washing machine and dryer, and free detergent. Many halal restaurants within walking distance. The bed was really comfortable. You even have a desk with a chair. The bathroom was with a good size. The room was warm. The location is great! The most interesting places in Oslo are on a walking distance. If you want to go somewhere far away, there are stops for the bus and trains on a few minutes walking distance. Oslo itself is lovely. It's very clean, with excellent facilities but be aware that it is very expensive. I've been there before, so I only went there again because I was going to stay with a friend. Unfortunately she got COVID, so I had to book a hotel at the last minute. A city that is not too big (it's walkable to most attractions, if you like walking), but has a lot packed into it. If you like culture then the Munch and National museums are both excellent and you may find yourself spending longer in them than anticipated. Being Scandinavia, it's generally clean with little litter. Yes, it's more expensive than back home in the UK, but not eye-wateringly so. For alcohol I would recommend buying cans from a supermarket (a little over £2 a can) rather than the £8 plus for under a pint in the bars.Guest review byNicholasUnited Kingdom
