Overall, this resort was excellent. The owner and staff were especially wonderful. Even though we checked in late at night, they were very polite and helpful. The room was spacious, the facilities were clean and tidy, and we were happy to stay with our 2-year-old. Breakfast was buffet-style, so we were able to choose what we wanted, and the staff were quick to assist us when we made a request for our son. Our 2-year-old had a blast seeing the cute cats. The staff and owner also responded sincerely to our requests regarding the room, which made us very happy and impressed. Overall, it was excellent.

I had a beautiful apartment with great views from the balcony (which contained a small table and two chairs). It was situated in a shopping complex with plenty of choices for eating and drinking, as well as small stores for buying basics. There is also a travel / booking shop on the ground floor run by a very helpful lady. Just a few minutes walk away, there were many small restaurants. Most nights, I ate Indian tandoori food - delicous and reasonably priced. The apartment was well placed for walks around the area, including to the petting zoo (ideal for children) and onward on a short jungle trek to a waterfall.

    Newly refurbished hotel so the room was lovely with a huge comfy bed. The staff were very welcoming and helpful and let me check in early as my room was ready. They arranged an early taxi for me as I had to get an early train. The hotel is close to the centre and all the sights are walkable.

    Cameron Highlands was really nice — the weather was perfect, and it felt peaceful being away from the city noise. But weekends can be a nightmare: the market areas were packed, parking was a struggle, and traffic heading towards Brinchang was just terrible. Definitely a great escape, but try to go on a weekday if you want some peace.

There’s so much to enjoy here—whether it’s the famous Genting SkyWorlds Theme Park with thrilling rides, the buzzing SkyAvenue Mall filled with shops and restaurants, or the lively casinos and entertainment shows.     Don't bother come during weekend/school holidays. You will be the victim of standstill traffic. If weekend/school holidays is your only option, come way early in the morning, like, latest 7-7.30 am arrival at Cameron areas.

    Everything is over priced. Souveniers, food, water etc. We are locals. The food in Cameron Highlands is more expensive than in the centre of KL. The entrance to the farms and some other venues are just too pricey. A family of 4 will end up paying RM100 to one spot. What about the other destinations? How can we promote local tourism when everything is priced for international tourists? The traffic jam to the farms up on the brinchang slope was the worst. Stuck for one hour and the cars on the other side even worse. Looked like 2 hours to me. No traffic control. I will not go to Cameron Highlands until that unnecessary traffic jam is not sorted.

    The hot spring pool is good and well maintained. The rooms are neat and clean except not enough chairs and lack a small table. Have to drive 12 km away for lunch and diner on a narrow and winding road.

    Apart from Ikan Patin Gulai Tempoyak, you can go to National Elephant Conservation Centre Kuala Gandah and also Deerland. Saturday night make sure go to the car boot sale & Sunday morning must go to Pekan Sehari.

    Cherating is a nice place to stay due to its beach, scenery, food and resorts, hotels nearby. But during peak season, u need to plan much earlier to avoid staying in discomfort resorts or old resorts or old hotel. You can find a good resort with nice environment and scenery if u have ample time to make a research or survey and surprisingly there are upcoming resorts which i am looking to stay but its fully occupied.
