Simply WOW! We had an absolutely fantastic experience at SIGNUM Hotel in Podgorica, Montenegro. The hotel design was truly outstanding! From the moment I walked in, I was captivated by its unique and stylish ambiance. The ladies at check-in, especially the super-friendly and helpful blonde-haired lady (whose name I regrettably didn't get – my apologies!), were simply amazing. Their warm welcome and attentiveness made our stay unforgettable. They provided the most exceptional hotel experience we've ever had worldwide. THANK YOU - HVALA PUNO! The entire staff were incredibly helpful and provided excellent service throughout our stay. They were always ready to assist with any request, which added a special touch to our visit. Our room was spectacular, clean, modern and comfortable. The hotel's facilities were absolutely amazing. The gym, equipped with a sauna and a Hamam, was a pleasant surprise, and it further enhanced our stay. There was also a rooftop restaurant with nice views of the surrounding area. Again staff there were absolutely amazing! 🙏 I also want to mention that the hotel had the most amazing fresh breakfast we've ever had. We were treated to a delicious spread of fresh and delectable options that truly started our days on a high note. The quality and variety of breakfast choices were simply outstanding and added another layer of excellence to our stay. Kudos to the hotel for providing such a delightful culinary experience! Overall, SIGNUM Hotel in Podgorica, Montenegro, exceeded all our expectations. It's a true gem with outstanding design, exceptional service, and remarkable facilities. Breakfast was great, a lot of choices. The hotel staff was really friendly, location was great for our purposes, not far from the centre of the city either. Food in the restaurant in the evening was tasty. We were also upgraded to a apartment which was nice, it had a huge balcony. A very pleasant stay!

We had a great stay! The staff were incredibly kind and helpful, especially Darko from the restaurant/reception – he made us feel very welcome. Although we arrived before noon, we were given access to our room without any extra charge, which we really appreciated. The breakfast was delicious, served à la carte with several great options. The air conditioning worked perfectly, which was important given the summer heat. For the price we paid, the value was excellent – truly a great price-to-quality ratio. The hotel is just a short taxi ride from the city center (around €3–4). Highly recommended!

    I liked that the air around the hotel smells strongly of jasmine (in spring) because it is planted as a hedge, so when you approach the hotel the stench of the cars disappears and the smell of jasmine intensifies, which is very pleasant. It immediately starts to relax and puts you in a cheerful mood, just like the soft music that spreads through the corridors. The staff is very friendly, cheerful and discreet. I like that the hotel has a swimming pool and a sauna. The architecture of the hotel is beautiful. The huge waists of "cica-maca" in vases remind me of home because there are a lot of them in Croatia.

    We actually only stayed here overnight directly from the airport. We arrived later than planned (plane delay) but the staff was incredibly friendly,everything was ready for us and in the morning the breakfast was very tasty and a large portion.

    Podgorica is small and doesn’t feel like a capital.

    Podgorica is small and doesn’t feel like a capital. It has lots of nice parks. There are a couple of art galleries, but they only host temporary exhibitions, so they were closed while the displays were being changed. The girl at the hotel told us that not many tourists come to Podgorica, as the seaside locations are more popular. Even so, we visited many places, enjoyed a really nice cake and coffee during the day, and had dinner at Pod Volat, which is an excellent restaurant. By the way there is only one shop in town for souvenirs.

    The length of stay was satisfactory in that it was possible to leave the apartment in the afternoon due to an afternoon flight. Proximity to the airport. And we really liked the apartment on the first floor.

    It is perfect to plan a trip closer to the mountains and lake skadar. For me two nights was the perfect amount of time. I recommend using kingfisher for lake skadar tour and eating at Grill House Roštiljijada Was the highlight of the stay!

    Podgorica does not get great reviews in the travel guides but we really enjoyed our day there. Very clean, very safe and very green. No great sites but lots of interest to see how people live. Go to the green market, the cathedral, mosques and parks. Old town not 'quaint' but very interesting and authentic

    It's a really small village down the road.

    It's a really small village down the road. Nice views but this is it, do not expect any attractions. It's basically a good spot to stay for the night while travelling in between different Montenegro localisation (for example if you're planning a boat trip over Skadarlake) Vranjina is a good 1-3 night stay for a cheap price with great local food (prices way better than in the nearby Virpazar). I highly recommend Restoran Obala, amazing food, huge portions and friendly staff.
