World class excellent hotel. Check in and check our process nice and easy. Location, state-of-the-art premises, super helpful staff, immaculate. Excellent and abundant breakfast with vegan options. Though the hotel was not fully booked, it seems that facilities have the proper dimensions when at full capacity. We really had a fantastic stay!

We loved the rooftop accommodation. Ideal for friends travelling together, single beds, and the option of an additional sofa bed. Great host, unexpected lovely breakfast included in the reasonable cost. Our host found us further accommodation in Kotor, when they couldn’t accommodate us for any more nights, which was greatly appreciated. The original room was modern and had everything we needed. It is ideally situated, within a 5 minute walk of the Old Town. There is a supermarket and restaurants within a couple of minutes of the hotel.

This is categorically, definitely an indubitably the best hotel we have ever stayed at ever. 💓❤️‍🔥 We have stayed at many hotels over our travels and this by far is the best. 😊👍It's not just the best because of the hotel itself, the rooms are impeccable and also the best room we've ever stayed in with the most beautiful views of the sea and a double balcony. Not just for the amazing spas and swimming pools here. It is truly for the level of care, kindness and love shown by everybody who works here. I don't truly know where to begin with our "thank yous" for everyone. 💞Firstly Jovana, David and Jasmina on the front desk and everybody else who works there, Tijana, Elza and Svetlana (for her wonderful massage too) and to the bar/restaurant staff and maids (with the best cocktails) and Igor, Andrea, Milica, Milena and Anna and to the chef Stefan (who cooked us THE best Sea food platter we have ever eaten), the managers and everybody else I may have missed, sorry if I did. You all deserve a raise in salary and are by far the best team individually and as a group! 😁😁😁💞You have made our stay the best ever.❤️‍🔥 We were only staying for a short while but stayed longer because of you all, your care and love, compassion, kindness and help have all been amazing.     Boravili smo u Hotelu Rivijera u Petrovcu pet dana i iskustvo je bilo zaista fenomenalno. Naša grupa od jedanaest osoba bila je izuzetno zadovoljna uslugom i celokupnim ambijentom hotela. Već pri dolasku, recepcionar Ivan nam je mnogo pomogao, što je zaista ostavilo pozitivan prvi utisak. Njegova ljubaznost i spremnost da odgovori na sva naša pitanja značajno su doprineli našem osećaju dobrodošlice. Hrana u hotelu je bila izvanredna. Švedski sto za doručak i večeru nudio je raznovrsne i kvalitetne opcije, prilagođene svim ukusima. Svaki obrok bio je svež i ukusan. Okruženje hotela je takođe za svaku pohvalu. Park i dvorište su puni zelenila, drva i cveća. Bazen je bio čist i uredan. Sobe su bile prostrane i komforne, sa velikim kupatilima, što nam je posebno odgovaralo s obzirom na to da smo putovali sa malom bebom. Hotel nam je obezbedio dodatni krevetac, što je bila velika olakšica. Parking je takođe bio odličan, što je značajno olakšalo naš boravak. Posebno želimo da istaknemo pažnju osoblja, koje je bilo izuzetno prijatno i pozitivno. Na recepciji su nam čak dali i uređaj protiv komaraca, što je još jedan pokazatelj njihove brige za goste. Na osnovu svega navedenog, sa sigurnošću možemo reći da ćemo se ponovo vratiti u Hotel Rivijera. Hvala svima na divnom boravku i vidimo se opet!

    Beautiful old town, essential to take a boat trip along the bay to view the majestic mountains. The cable car is also a great activity, not only do you get a view of Kotor Bay but when you get to the top there is a lot to explore. The roads are very busy so it takes a while to get around. Essential to book a taxi before you arrive at the airport as the taxis from there are very expensive. Absolutely amazing scenery. Very busy old town as cruise liners arrive daily.

    We enjoyed the size of the resort, small enough to walk around with lots of small shingle beaches where it was easy to enter the sea for safe swimming. The grocery shops were well stocked with reasonably priced fresh produce. A good variety of boat trips were available. The local transport was somewhat problematic with no proper timetables even online. We would have travelled around more if we knew what time the bus should come.

    Ulcinj beach area is for the most part quite dirty and littered. There are people prepared to scam you readily. We did like the fortress area and found a cleaner beach near there (Liman Beach) that we quite liked.

    I visited both Tivat and Kotor, but the Herceg Novi area is definitely the best place to stay around the Bay of Kotor: the most beautiful, cleanest, calmest, nicest vibe, better price level (e.g. accommodation, restaurants, etc.).

    I'm afraid my impression of Bar was that it was industrial, a bit ugly and not very well looked after.(Sorry Bar, maybe I didn't go to the right places!) Wanting to visit places that are not yet wholly given over to tourism, is a two edged sword; it means that the 'pretty views' are often obscured by something utilitarian and not pretty! I took a taxi boat to Sutomore beach, which was a lovely trip and incredibly good value. The beach and water was fabulous but I think every person in the whole of Montenegro had had the same idea and the beach was extremely crowded. My reason for visiting Bar was to do the train journey from Bar to Belgrade, which I had read was one of the most beautiful in Europe. It did not disappoint and made me forgive Bar everything!

    Beautiful clear water for swimming, but the resort was very busy and touristy, full of cheap souvenir shops and pizza bars. The beaches were overcrowded with row upon row of expensive sunbeds and parasols.

    From the sveti stefan bus stop, it’s very easy to get around, buses to Budva Old Town run every 20 minutes, cost €2.5 one way, and take about 20 minutes. Taxi from Tivat airport is around €55–60 and takes about 40 minutes. For food, we often bought frozen homemade dishes from a Ukrainian shop in Budva, which were really tasty.

    Perast is a small town filled with enormous natural beauty, tantalising stairwells to explore, beaches to relax on, and with many many ice-cream vendors, bars and restaurants on the water's edge to replenish yourself and soak it all in.
