Beautiful riad in the medina of Fes, everything good and the boys working there are all very friendly and helpful. I called them to ask if they could help me get to the riad from the blue gate, since traveling alone and reaching places in the Medina can be challenging combined with big bags, and he came to pick me up there which was really helpful. The breakfast is good.

We had an absolutely wonderful stay at this stunning riad. The welcome was exceptional, and the staff were incredibly warm and attentive. Our room was simply beautiful — tastefully decorated and spotlessly clean. Everything was perfect, down to the smallest detail! We had the chance to enjoy a hammam and massage experience — a truly relaxing and fantastic moment. We also had dinner at the riad and chose the set menu… what a surprise! The portions were very generous, and every dish was absolutely delicious. From start to finish: a refined starter, a flavorful tagine, a delightful dessert, and to top it all off, traditional Moroccan pastries with mint tea… it was perfect! The riad is also ideally located — easily accessible by car with nearby parking. It’s the perfect base to explore the Medina, everything is within easy reach. Honestly, it’s one of the most beautiful places I’ve ever visited. We absolutely loved our stay

Staying at Riad Jnane Fes Medina & Luxury Palace was one of the highlights of my trip to fez. The riad itself is stunning , a perfect blend of traditional Moroccan charm and modern comfort. But what made the stay truly special was the staff. Kenza welcomed us with the warmest smile and made me feel at home immediatly. Mostapha was equally wonderful --always attentive , and ready to help with anything i needed ,from directions to recommandations. Thanks to them, my time in fez felt effortless and memorable. Highly recommend this riad to anyone visiting the city.

Palais Medina and Spa is a top-notch hotel that is perfect for those who want to experience the beautiful city of Fez. The highlight of the hotel is the amazing terrace overlooking the beautiful medina of Fez, which is a great spot to relax with a cup of coffee while taking in the breathtaking views. The room is modern and clean with all the necessary amenities, including a bathtub in the toilet, which is a great touch. It is evident that the hotel management takes cleanliness seriously, and the rooms are immaculately cleaned every day. Another notable feature of the hotel is its proximity to a large shopping mall and McDonald's, which is perfect for those who want to explore the modern side of Fez. It is also convenient for those who want to grab a quick meal or do some shopping. The hotel staff were friendly and helpful, and they assisted us with arranging a taxi service to the CTM bus station of Fez, which saved us a lot of trouble. The staff was always available to answer our questions and ensured that we had a comfortable stay. In conclusion, Palais Medina and Spa is recommended for travellers looking for a luxurious and comfortable stay in Fez. The beautiful terrace, modern rooms, proximity to shopping malls and great service from the staff make it a great choice for anyone visiting Fez.

Our stay at Hotel Royal Mirage in Fes was truly exceptional! The hotel itself is beautiful, clean, and comfortable, but what made it unforgettable was the amazing staff. I want to give a very special thank you to Mohamed Meskine at the reception. His warm welcome, helpful attitude, and deep knowledge about the history of Fes really stood out. He took the time to guide us on how to get to the Old Medina and made sure we had everything we needed. Honestly, if I could rate him, I’d give 100 out of 10 – that’s how incredible he was! Also a big thanks to his colleague, Mohamed 2, who was just as friendly and professional. Highly recommend Hotel Royal Mirage for anyone visiting Fes. Great location, comfortable rooms, and most importantly – truly wonderful people!

Four days of escape from the cold Dutch climate. We are very pleased with Dar El Mandar. First of all, the place is breathtaking! The view is beautiful, it is very luxurious and has nice lounge seating. If you do not master the French or Arabic language this is not a problem. There works a young lady named Wafoj. She studied English at the University and is therefore the perfect addition to the team. In addition, she and the rest of the crew are very hospitable. It is handy to have enough money at the airport to withdraw money because there is no bank machine nearby. And transferring money is difficult. We were just a little short but this was not a problem and a sweet gift from them.

We had a nice stay overall. The hotel was clean and comfortable, with all the basic amenities we needed. It’s conveniently located near minimarkets, which was great for quick purchases. A particularly nice touch was the presence of a sandbox/play area for kids—it made it easier to relax while the little ones had fun. The property has good features like a dual shower and dryer, although the bathroom space was a bit tight. There were also a few ants near the entrance, which could be improved. Still, the positives outweighed the small issues, and we appreciated the thoughtful family-friendly setup. Would recommend for families looking for a practical and comfortable stay.

Peculiar European style roof houses for sliding the melted ice, calm, quiet and very comfortable hotels available, especially I highly recommend MICHLIFEN RESORT. Hotel staff was very obedient, punctual. Hotel surrounding, forest tour by walk.. Deep inside, a visit to a small lake for a short picnic, smaller town comparatively and a short centre ville visit are special moments in 4 days visit. A retirement town. I breathed most clean air in the whole of my life. Very clean town.. I always used to rate some rural area of Sub Saharan Africa as the best for good air quality but now my new option is IFRANE of this beautiful country "MOROCCO".

Not much happening in this town.

Not much happening in this town. Hard to find good restaurants. Most places seem to serve fast food. Probably the biggest draw is the proximity to Ifrane National Park and the famous Barbary macaques. They are easily spotted on the road N13 leading into town mainly because people like to feed them there so there are plenty to see.

A Hidden Gem for Peace and Tranquility

A Hidden Gem for Peace and Tranquility Nestled far from the hustle and bustle of modern cities, this town offers a serene retreat into a simpler, more peaceful way of life. The charm of the town lies in its timeless atmosphere, where modernity is far from the priority. Here, life moves at a slower pace. The architecture of Moulay Idriss mosque is nothing short of breathtaking, The intricate tiles and majestic arches tell stories of a rich cultural heritage, while the fountains within the mosque add a sense of tranquility and spiritual serenity. It’s a place where you can spend hours marveling at the craftsmanship and feeling completely at peace. The landscapes are equally captivating, with vast stretches of olive trees dotting the hillsides. What makes this town even more special is its people — respectful , down to earth and welcoming, they embody the warmth of a culture that values tradition and hospitality. There’s no fuss here, just a genuine sense of community.

Booking. Com is very hard to write a review in the system, it deleted all my long descriptions. The accommodation was wonderful and welcoming. The 15th century palace in the middle of the 9000 Fez alleyways was stunning and beautiful. The staff was exceptional and helpful and quickly became friends. The best of Fez, Morocco's artisan city, includes exploring the ancient, car-free medina to witness skilled artisans at work in traditional souks, visiting the famous Chouara Tannery to see leather goods production, and experiencing crafts like pottery, metalwork, and weaving. Visitors can also immerse themselves in local crafts through hands-on workshops or by shopping for unique, handmade goods, such as rugs, oils and spices at women-only cooperatives. The local food is great and also the cafe' and music concerts. I attended the Fez Festival of Sufi Culture and World Spirituality, an unforgettable, rich experience.

Interesting medina, market and main square. Short (free) visit to mausoleum is main event, otherwise not a lot to do. Probably 1 day/night is sufficient. I was in and around Fez during Ramadan.

I was in and around Fez during Ramadan. This requires believers to give up food and drink from sunrise to sunset. That is why we, as tourists, must behave respectfully towards the natives/locals... The hustle and bustle in the Medina is normal, Friday threre is a day like Sunday for us in EU. For Medina I recommend the first visit with a guide so as not to get lost between 900 - 10,000 streets As far as I know, there have been some issues at the airport with mobile boarding tickets in the past (they were calculated for paper printing), so it may be better to fix this sooner. As far as I could see on April 12, the couple in front of me came with mobile cards (on the phone) and they kindly gave them boarding passes for free
