Although the house is small, it has everything you would need for both shorter or longer stay. We stayed there before Christmas and the house was decorated, we had Christmas theme cups, slippers and bed linens. The host makes you feel very, very welcomed.

This camping site offers everything you could want for having fun in and around the beautiful big lake. Would be fun to use with a large group of friends and families, since the camping houses are right next to each other. If you want more privacy, you can rent an apartment which is fully equipped and modern (shower and kitchen).
We only stayed one night and just the two of us, but you could barbecue and have big dinner parties, chillax at the hot tub with a magnificent lake view.
Very good value for money and highly recommend!

Ērgļi is very nice place but weather was bad, I expected to...
Ērgļi is very nice place but weather was bad, I expected to have cold snowy winter not spring in January when booked accommodation. Not much to see when everything is gray and almost no snow left on skiing slopes.
There is nice restaurant opened in old Ērgļi railway station, highly recommend.

It's a small town that's booming.
It's a small town that's booming. Locals are typical small town people - very friendly and communicative. Multiple grocery stores, gas stations and cafes. Located in hilly part of Latvia. Great location for a vacation.
