Staff was more than friendly and helpful. They helped us book a safari to a nearby Eco park for a very nice price and also gave us good advice on what to do in the Polonnaruwa ancient city. The pool was exceptionally clean and warm.

Overall, I had a wonderful stay with my family, and it was an amazing experience. The full area was very calm and we were so relaxed. I was surprised really about your property and how amazing place that it was located. That made my day, honestly. I had visited your city several times and stayed in numerous hotels within your property range, but I could not find another property that gave us with the services you did. The check-in process went smoothly, and the staff were nice and accommodating. My room was very clean and comfortable. The food was delicious, and everything was really clean. The food quality was so good. Some dishes were excellent. The breakfast options were extremely good, and we had, like, enjoyed a lot. I mean, everything was better than we expected in a good way. I appreciate your efforts in making our stay enjoyable, and I hope this feedback will help you improve your services. For my job I visit many hotels, but this place, really, it is an absolutely gem! Amazing vibes! The room is huge, the bed as well, bathroom everything is spacious and large AND comfortabel! Best shower, nice balcony, beautiful garden! The owner is very friendly. Breakfast was huge and delicious! The pictures don't do justice to the place! Stay there and you will feel in heaven!

Clean, Comfortable, and Family-Friendly – Just Like Our Own Home Our stay at Honey Tree Polonnaruwa was wonderful! The pool was crystal clear and even had a safe area for small children. With only six rooms, the atmosphere was quiet and private — perhaps the only hotel in Polonnaruwa with a pool for such a small number of guests. The rooms were very comfortable, the food was delicious, and the staff were warm and welcoming. Excellent value for money!

The room was beautiful, with a very nice view of the lake and the bathroom was amazing, the experience of having shower in the middle of the nature is so great! We also enjoy having drinks at night in the beautiful garden in front of the lake. The breakfast and the dinner is delicious. We took a massage and it was so relaxing… a perfect place to enjoy the nature (safaris are quite near) and relax

Exception place, I loved everything, nearest town is 12km away so some may find it quiet but for me it was perfect. The staff were great, and the chef was able to cater for 2 dietary requirements. Food portions are huge and room large and comfortable. Swimming pool warm and clean, just wear t-shirt or wet suit top if a lady to be respectful. It was an amazing experience

Half a day was enough as the sun was out and draining.

Half a day was enough as the sun was out and draining. At the last stop in Polonnaruwa where you have the temple there was a young man sketching and painting. There was also an older gentleman selling Neem & Jamun tree wood containers and tumblers for keeping water in the night and drinking in the morning Neem for better all over health & Jamun for decreasing blood sugar.

Amazing, smaller national park.

Amazing, smaller national park. More of a wild, intimate experience than it's massively over subscribed cousins. We were in very close contact with a family of elephants, (including baby) for at least 20 mins before another jeep arrived, and then it was only just the two vehicles.

This is a far better place to stay due to the quality of the resort than in Polonnaruwa. A guest could stay here for many days as the ground are huge and relaxing. Pool and spa are kept spotless by a dedicated person that has been doing ot proudly for over 21 years.

The ancient city of Polonnaruwa has a lot to offer to the tourists who want to know about the history of Sri Lanka. It has so many ruins and monuments to view, and especially marvel at the stone crafting abilities of ancient Sri Lankans who have created so many buddhist states and artistic monuments by using rocks. Definitely a trip to add to your bucket list.

Lovely national park, clean, quiet compared to other parks in Sri Lanka. Fairly priced entrance fee, guide joins you on the jeep, but optional to tip them. Ours was superb and pointed out many things we would have missed otherwise.

The ancient ruins are a wonder to visit.

The ancient ruins are a wonder to visit. Some great knowledgeable guides available. A few crooks about aggressively selling their Tuk Tuk and bicycle hire to be beware of. Our guide was sadly threatened and intimidated by these bullysome men.
