Very spacious room and comfortable bed. Lots of freebies in the room including tea and coffee. Olsen had a great view across the bay. Lounge with complimentary cold and hot drinks and ice cream. Location is fight next to the ferry and the town. Perfect hotel.

Amazing value for money. This hotel provides service above and beyond; with even small details like little cakes in your room and toothbrush provided. Don't believe the reviews saying English is not spoken. Just think of booking for the restaurant a few hours in advance with reception and if you need something a little shop sells drinks, beer and snacks. We had the Japanese dinner both nights and it was delicious (lots of food though). Highly recommend.

Only a 5-minute drive from Miyajima Ferry Port with its free shuttle, beautiful ocean views can be enjoyed from Miyajima Seaside Hotel.

It's a very well maintained traditional house with a staff very helpful to the guests. Spending a night there was quite magical. Highly recommended experience!

My partner (now my wife) and I have always loved the view of the iconic torii gate in Miyajima. While looking for a highly rated hotel in the area, we came across ITSUKUSHIMA IROHA and decided it would be the perfect place to celebrate her birthday, and secretly, I was planning to propose to her on that special day. I initially reached out to the hotel just to ask if they offered any simple in-room proposal decorations. To my surprise, Haruka and Yuriko responded with so much enthusiasm and so many thoughtful ideas — from how to hide the ring box, to when they could prepare the room while we were out, to setting up a beautiful arrangement. On top of all that, they even upgraded our room as a surprise. It was all far more than I ever expected. A huge thank you to Haruka, Yuriko, and everyone at ITSUKUSHIMA IROHA. Your kindness, genuine warmth, and incredible attention to detail made this such an unforgettable experience for us. We’ll always remember how you helped us on one of the most important days of our lives — and we absolutely plan to come back. As for the hotel itself: the location couldn’t be better, just a short walk from Itsukushima Shrine. It means you can enjoy the peaceful atmosphere and stunning views both early in the morning and later at night. Our room was elegantly designed, with top-quality amenities and one of the most comfortable beds we’ve ever slept on. And the meals — dinner and breakfast — were as delicious as they were beautifully presented. This is the most memorable and enjoyable hotel stay I’ve ever had.
