The staff was very friendly and helpful. The room was very comfortable, with a nice view on the courtyard. Liked the beds very much. The location was excellent: just 10 minutes to Duoma and Medici Palace. Not far from train station - just about 15 minutes. Nearby there are lots of places where you can eat or buy some food (for example, Carefour was on the parallel street). Also the breakfast was included and it was various and delicious. It was very nice that there also was some traditional Florence dishes like Panettone .

it was not my first time there and it says everything. The hotel is superb and unusual for the Florence dowtown. The design and interiors are impressive and very much creative. Several days are not enough to explore it. Location is great, all what you may need in a walking distance. 10 min walk from the railway station. Breakfast is rich and tasty.

Perfect hotel! The location is great, the rooms are clean, and the cleaning services are provided every day! Breakfasts are amazing, and in addition the hotel organises tea and coffee hours with different deserts between 3-6 pm, and also there is a happy hour in the evening when wines and cocktails are presented to guests. This was an amazing few nights stay for us. The resort is fabulous, located by the beach, little chalets are between pines trees. The chalet we had was perfect for our family of 5. There is plenty to do for the kids. Pools were very busy but we didn’t mind as the beach and sea was what we preferred. Our son was the only speaking child in the kids club ( this was. A group for 10 year olds) but the person looking after the group (Abdullah) made sure that our boys felt included and had a great time. The Italian boys were also very welcoming and super kind and so my son had a very good time. We loved the evening entertainment. Food was a bit meh, for Italian beautiful food standards but it was fresh and overall ok for few days (I am not sure I would be happy if we stayed over the week 😀 the cook really needs to learn how to make scrambled eggs. But the omlettes were good). The little shop on the facilities was just great for daily groceries. Overal amazing!

It’s very cute and quaint with a variety of camping types (personal tents and campers but also rentable mobile homes and tent houses). I love that there is not auto traffic though the campground which makes it quiet and safe for walking. The mobile home we rented was clean and comfortable. All linens were included which was appreciated as we were traveling by bike. The beach was really nice and the water was very shallow for a long ways out.

Loved every single detail about the property. The reason I gave 4/5 for location is because the hotel is located in a very remote and secluded area, which is the whole idea about relaxation. If you want to have any activity outside the hotel there is no taxi, Uber, bus, shuttle, public transportation,…. You MUST have a car or you need to pay a very high fee to have a private transfer by the hotel.

Impeccably run campsite on beach in remote, non-touristy area. We admired the design of our 5 person lodge tent, with 2 BR and BA, full kitchen and deck. Great private restaurant on grounds and a store, very quiet, friendly. The area seemed safe since no one locked up their bikes except electric bikes. Good compact design of site, not too far to walk to the beach.

Pisa is so much more than just the leaning tower. The whole cathedral complex is wonderful. It is well worthwhile staying in Pisa to enjoy the whole experience after the crowds go home (or before they arrive). The entire place is like a film set. So many beautiful churches, old buildings and fascinating museums.

We heard about Lucca from some people when we were in a restaurant in Pisa. We decided to visit because of their enthusiasm and because it was not very far by train. We were very impressed by Lucca's attractions and the local were friendly and helpful. There are areas other than the old town with it's usual tourists traps that are worth exploring.

Was not impressed with the city and expected more given all the review I read online. My disapointment could be due to the fact I visited in February, so off season. I booked two nights but decided to only stay for one and left early. Even though I booked a room in the central part of the city I did not feel safe walking the streets at night.

    A very attractive town.

A very attractive town. The beaches are superb, but unless you head out of town you need to go into a beach club. There are no free access beaches in town. Some hotels have an arrangement with a beach club for free or discounted access for guests, so it is worth checking this if you intend to use the beaches. It can cost typically EUR30-40 for 2 chairs, a sunbed and an umbrella. They don't offer reduced rates until 3-4pm. That will add up after a few days. The restaurants are OK but nothing special. Most of them serve the same food, which can get boring. We ate in our hotel restaurant more than we usually would, but the quality and variety of food on offer was better than any outside restaurant we tried. Apart from the beach, shops and walking up and down the promenade, there is not much to actually do in Viarregio, so you may want to get out on some day trips. Pisa and Luca are accessible by train, although we found them both to be disappointing (especially Luca - what a dump!). We found the train service a bit hit and miss, although it is cheap. Consider hiring a car if you plan to get out of Viareggio. If you pick up and drop off at the airport, it will also be useful for airport transfers.
