The Agriturismo is a gem in the island of Stromboli, situated in a quite residential area and fully immersed into nature. A huge, well mantained garden full of plants,trees and flowers , a private terrace with a fantastic direct view of volcano from a hammac, fantastic home grown and home made breakfast prepared and served with love by Anna ,the host. Anna and Pino , the hosts are extremely kind , friendly and helpful for anything you need , their advice on different excursion providers were very good and let us experience the best of the island. The food was delicious, the cats were cute, and the room was comfortable. The view from the terrace where breakfast was served was breathtaking - on one side the sea, on the other the volcano. Stromboli is one of a kind to check out an active volcano. It also has surprisingly nice beaches. The island is lacking some tourist infrastructure. There is no place to rent snorkel equipment, for example. Food is a little pricier than mainland but nothing too outrageous.Guest review byBond - 10.0

We walked up the mountain without a guide to around 300 Metres. A tough climb but coming back in the dark is also difficult t pays to have headlamps... we used our cell phone torches which was a bit limiting.
