the team was very friendly and helpful. The hotel is very charming, our room was very beautiful (and absolutely clean, of course), we even got a free upgrade, very comfortable bed and great walking distance to the station, city centre and main sights. The breakfast was excellent. We would definitely recommend this hotel!

Fantastic restaurant with a top Chef Igor and his amazing team 😊 with all ingredients sourced locally and veggies from a hotel garden where only organic / natural pesticides are used. We really enjoyed the cooking class with Chef Igor and few special dishes he prepared for us during our stay 🤗 I appreciate fully personalized approach of concierge. We had a yoga program arranged for us with amazing yoga instructor 🧘🏻‍♀️La Monastica is a perfect place for a little yoga retreat and rejuvenation. Finally the hotel is dog friendly 🐶 our dog did not want to leave home!! We will be back soon 😊❤️

The location was great - just a tiny bit difficult to find as it is on a small narrow street and the name does not stand out. But there os a food restaurant just next to the hotel, lots of other restaurants and shops. Central location. The room was very chic - clean and cute. Would recommend. Staff was friendly and welcoming.

Very nice and helpful staff, good location in the older part of Pistoia and close to the Duomo, good breakfast, large room with large bathroom and large shower. Many restaurants in the area. La Cantinetta just in front of the hotel can be highly recommended, very good food and excellent service.

    I had a lovely 2 nights stay on my trip around Tuscany. I certainly did pick the right hotel for relaxing. Great facilities with a Spa and treatment room. The swimming pool had lovely sun lounges with a hood canopy attached. and was beside the Spa. It was really relaxing. There was a very big lounge at the front of hotel for relaxing too with a bar. The breakfast was very good too and one could make their own juice from the fruit and vegetables on the table. Pancake and scrambled eggs with bacon and not forgetting all the lovely cakes !!! My room was on the second floor and had lovely matching furniture with a door opening out to a small balcony with 2 chairs. Great location to the main square and shopping area with the Theatre there also.

    Beautiful property, beautiful villa, many different hideout options, pool and loads of greenery. The room was clean and beautifully furnished. There was everything you need and more. Breakfast was amazing. We were super excited that dogs are allowed in the villa and we brought our pup with us. Simone was really kind and extremely helpful before and during our stay. The family was also really nice and welcoming. We felt very well taken care of in the Villa Parri. Thank you!

    This resort is an extraordinary experience - “touching the surrounding nature” with breathtaking views of Tuscany scenery. Nicely decorated studio, comfortable beds, calmness, relaxing sitting area outside. Excellent breakfast and outside pool(ready to enjoy even in May). As olive trees are growing everywhere around the property, you can buy local olive oil and wine there. If you want to experience “real Tuscany” greenery, this visit is a MUST.

    We are hikers and rock climbers, the location was good for climbing in nearby Monsummano, Several Via Ferattas are within an hour or two drive. The restaurants are many and most are quite good, especially in Montecatini Alto. For those who like to shop, the main plaza has a plethora of sores, including high end shops.

    The location is great if you are traveling by car. There place is very relaxing and can travel by train to Florence and by car to Lucca, Citta di Vinci and other places nearby. Pistoia is a good place nearby to eat.

    Monsummano is an interesting town with a history I do not feel I explored enough.There is a museum and a library that I would have liked to have visted, but I enjoyed walking around and drinking coffees here and there. Only one decent restaurant as far as I could find - the Sotto Grotta in the Piazza Giusta ... but I could cook for myself (once I found the sumpermarket) and all in all it has a lovely feel with pleasing architecture.

    If you are traveling in Tuscany by car, staying in Lamporecchio and wandering around it may be a good alternative for you. You can reach most of your destinations in half an hour to an hour. There are local restaurants, cafes and patisseries.

    Pescia is a quaint little town with all the modern and traditional facilities. Close to the autostrada and with a train station it is also excellent for other trips to Lucca, Pisa, Florence and beyond. Quite apart from traditional churches, museums, galleries and theatres in Pescia there are also local villages and towns such as Monte Carlo and Monteterme to enjoy.     A good base if your a bit more adventurous and don't mind travelling by train. For example Pisa and Florence are both reachable by train but include changing trains at various places. Montecatini itself is a little run down in places with all the spa buildings closed. A nice little town square where a few bars can be found. Montecatini Alto is a gem reached by a funicular railway and Lucca (40 mins by train) is well worth a visit.

    Pistoia is a small town, not Firenze or even the size of Lucca. However, it has amazing architecture and plenty to explore. There are many, many restaurant choices, it's clean, safe and appealing. It's so easy to drive in and walk to the center. Prices are low. We loved the ease of dining after a day of exploring. A GREAT stepping off point to Florence and Lucca by car or train.

    Lamporecchio does not offer very much apart from "...

    Lamporecchio does not offer very much apart from " brigidini" local sweets, a visit to Pasticceria Carli is worthwhile . The village is pretty dull and rather modern in spite of the fact that it is cited in the Decameron written in the year 1300 d.C. by the famous Italian novelist and poet Giovanni Boccaccio.

    Interesting historic town divided by the Fume Pescia.

    Interesting historic town divided by the Fume Pescia. Lively market on Saturday morning and Locanda Sotto i Portici restaurant is highly recommended. Provides a good base for exploring N Tuscany, Lucca, Pisa and Florence all within an hour’s drive.
