- Scored out of 10, guest rating 8.7Fabulous - What previous guests thought, 481 reviewsWe were made to feel very welcome by Anna, Alessia and Elenor and no questions, requests or enquiries on our part were ever too much for these fantastic ladies. Our room was spacious, clean and well stocked with toiletries, towels etc.. The room was made up every day whilst we were our and although we never met the house staff in person we would like the management to pass on our gratitude to these unseen workers The continental style breakfast, which was included with our booking, was well portioned, always fresh and where necessary, hot. There are plenty of loungers around the pool area and the pool itself is very clean aided by the underwater pool cleaning robot and occasionally ground staff. The hotel itself is in a quiet area set back from the road and a 15 minute walk from the nearest beach at Torre Grande. We would not recommend swimming in the sea here. The water is very brown and when we mentioned this to Anna, she immediately told us of better cleaner beaches towards Tharros which are about a 15 minute drive away. The village of Torre Grande itself has numerous bars and restaurants plus a pharmacy and small supermarket. Be warned however, due to Sardinia’s Spanish past, the locals siesta in the afternoon so shops and pharmacies tend to close between 14.00 and 16.30.Guest review byJonIreland
- From US$105.09 per nightScored out of 10, guest rating 8.8Fabulous - What previous guests thought, 255 reviewsThis is the place we had been longing for all holiday: a cozy and welcoming location with people who are truly passionate about what they do. It felt like stepping back into the charming spirit of the 80s and 90s — no flashy modern fuss, just warmth, heartfelt hospitality, and the comfort of feeling at home. We were genuinely overwhelmed by the kindness and authenticity of the hosts. The food was delicious, breakfast was a real treat, and enjoying a lovingly prepared drink by the pool was simply perfect. Grazie di cuore, torneremo sicuramente!Guest review byIlonaNetherlands
- Scored out of 10, guest rating 8.7Fabulous - What previous guests thought, 495 reviewsCharming hotel situated in the centre of Cabras and ideally situated for visiting the area. The hotel rooms are cosy and the outside area is delightful, with trees and flowers, lots of seating and loungers by the pool, friendly and helpful staff. The rooms each have their own entrance onto the garden area. There’s no private parking but we found it easy to park nearby, however might be tricky with a big car! A good breakfast choice including home made cake and fresh coffee was included.Guest review bySusanSwitzerland
- Scored out of 10, guest rating 9.0Superb - What previous guests thought, 287 reviewsComfortable well equipped independent unit, quiet air con in tranquil location on edge of Cabras. Short stroll to museum and good choice of restaurants in town - book ahead 👍! Friendly welcome from the on-site owners, excellent generous breakfast with home made sweet & savoury options and an amazing range of jams 😋! Overall a great place to stay for exploring the Sinis peninsula 👌!Guest review byChrisItaly
- Scored out of 10, guest rating 8.9Fabulous - What previous guests thought, 145 reviewsThe property is close to the gorgeous beaches. The room was spacious and clean. It was pleasant to sleep with open windows to the sound of birds at night. The breakfast was scrumptious: delicious coffee, croissants. The variety of food for breakfast was good for us, since we stayed a few nights. The staff was very nice and friendly.Guest review byMariaAustria

Cabras is not that touristy, it is a living little city.
Cabras is not that touristy, it is a living little city. We liked that a lot. There was a festa when we were there and we felt part of it. Cabras is also well situated to go to different places at the coast and the mountains. There are many good restaurants with delicious fish and seafood, but also meat.Guest review byHeikeGermany - 8.0
We visited in September when it was lovely and quiet.
We visited in September when it was lovely and quiet. Nice beaches and calm sea. Friendly people and lovely sunset views. Great spot if you like a more laid back, quieter holiday with walks along the cliffs, paddleboarding and options for windsports.Guest review byJuliaCanada - 8.0
Torre Grande is a nice smaller town.
Torre Grande is a nice smaller town. There weren't many tourists. Every night there was something going on (Sardinian, Latin American festival, stalls with food and souvenirs, live music...). A lot of restaurants, small shop, bakery and ice cream shops.Guest review byLudmilaCzech Republic - 10.0

There was a really good supermarket in walking distance, plus bakers and various other shops. There were restaurants and cafes, we had a great Neapolitan pizza at Civico Diciannove, where you can eat in or take away. Riola Sardo is also very well situated for visiting museums and archeological sites as well as lovely clean beaches.Guest review byDammitjanetUnited Kingdom - 8.0

The town itself was much like most of the towns in this area. They appeared deserted. Most of the local restaurants have closed. A small bar used by locals and a very small shop - so extremely limited if you wanted lunch.Guest review byJanetUnited Kingdom - 10.0

Beautiful coastal retreat, so quiet and relaxing and close to Tharros excavations an sites. Be happy to bring your own food for breakfast etc or happy to walk/drive a couple of kms into San Giovanni di Sinis for restaurants/cafes. Amazing spot with interesting residential architecture and wonderful swimming and ocean walks.Guest review bymatAustralia - 10.0

Luisessa is a remarkable host and works hard to to make your visit as great as possible…as a Cabras native she knows the city’s history, the best places to go as well as the best restaurants & she is extremely knowledgeable about the beaches. Her breakfasts are wonderful, especially the seatas, and she makes a great long coffee!Guest review byMichaelUnited States - 8.0
We mostly used Torregrande as a base to explore the areas...
We mostly used Torregrande as a base to explore the areas around Oristano and Cabras. The beach is large and has some bars, but dogs are not allowed. The dog beach is at the far end of the village beyond a dirt parking lot, abandoned beach bars and derelict industrial buildings. Not particularly welcoming. There are some good restaurant in the town. Overall Torregrande is quite easy to reach and to travel around (with a car), so a good base to explore the area.Guest review byclaudioUnited Kingdom - 10.0
We stayed there for 5 days and it was way too short.
We stayed there for 5 days and it was way too short. There was a lot more that Funtana Meiga has to offer, from hiking to beaches, from visiting old towns to eating amazing food. Unfortunately we did not have enough time to experience it all.Guest review byAnonymous - 8.0

Sand beach with smooth sand, beach bars/restaurants, sports activity at one club on beach. Garbages on beach and its entries, mosquitoes when sunset due to close rice fields. Need to use repelents and it's enough.Guest review byHrabyCzech Republic
