There is a small private beach where you can relax with other guests from the residence, but we were almost alone. You can also sunbathe on the sun loungers, barbecue or take a walk around the area. There is also an outdoor veranda with seating at the apartment. Roofed parking for cars. The surroundings are quiet and suitable for evening walks. The kitchen facilities are modest. Furthermore, the breakfast is absolutely 5 stars and the hotel restaurant ‘Isola’ also delivers great quality food choices. Nearby the hotel is the MaMa pizza place as a second place to eat. The best place in Sardinia.
The best place in Sardinia. Cute Italian town with picturesque houses, great restaurants and the best gelato. We loved going from beach to beach, they all possess different qualities, but they are all lovely with the bluest water I’ve seen. You definitely need a car or a Vespa to get the best experience. Taking a boat trip for a day is also a must! Would strongly recommend spending a few days in La Maddalena!Guest review byTameshaNorway - 10.0

It is a great apartment with good space for 5 persons and a fabulous view of the sea and Porto Massimo. The apartment complex was very quiet with just a few people when we were there from September 22-27. The apartment had everything we needed although the oven did not work. The windows have mosquito net frames which must be removed to close them. The apartment is at the top of the hill with 100+ stairs from the main parking area. Fewer stairs when parking at the back but then it takes another 5 min. through a small dust road. You need a car to go shopping and to restaurants or the town 8 minutes away. The waters surrounding La Maddalena are stunning, the closest to the Caribbean I have experienced in the Mediterranean. La Maddalena is relatively small and easy to get around with a car. Depending on where you are staying, beaches may be within walking distance. La Maddalena is such a beautiful island, loved the geology of the island and felt very comfortable in the town.
