Very easy to find (It has a brightly lit sign a top the building that was visible from quite some distance away), this hotel was excellent for our stopover too Iceland. We arrived early but for a small fee the staff were able to put our room together which was greatly appreciated as the wife and I were exhausted. The room had a massive expanse of windows which was great as we were on the top floor so could see for some distance. The Breakfast was a buffet style with a reasonable choice of continental options. As we were checking out early they provided us with breakfast bags to go which I thought was a nice touch. The room was clean and well presented, the shower had a choice of regular or raindrop style shower heads and the bed was very comfy. Though not immediately obvious there was a sports bar at the back of the hotel which was most welcome for some evening bar food.

Located in the coastal town of Mosfellsbaer, this hotel is just off Iceland’s scenic Ring Road. Central Reykjavik is 10 minutes’ drive away. Both Wi-Fi and on-site private parking are free.

Nearby Reykjavik, but real close to the beginning of the golden ring. Not so much light, so I think Auroras could be easily seen (though I didn´t have the chance) Good breakfast included. Supermarket and food options nearby, Comfy beds

The viking village area is great and very quirky.. the staff were great. The restaurant opposite the hotel was great with lovely staff. The decor is very interesting

Staff was friendly and helpful. Room is not spacious but clean and cozy. Breakfast is good with many options. I like how the hotel is decorated.
