We had an amazing experience at Cinze Villas. The hot water pools, each with a different temperature is a unique concept, is a wonderful idea and incredibly relaxing, especially at night. I suggest taking day trips to explore the rural area during the day, then enjoying the villa in the afternoon and evening, when the atmosphere becomes truly magical. During the day, you might notice some flies around the hotel, but this is due to the surrounding farmland, where natural compost is used, which attracts them. It can get a bit chilly at night, so I recommend bringing a light jacket, but soaking in the hot pools under the night sky is an unmissable experience. The staff is lovely, and the food is excellent, a mix of Indonesian and Western dishes (be sure to try the chicken parmigiana!). We really hope to come back soon.

The surroundings were serene and the views were magnificent. Having a private warm natural spring bath at the door made it a spectacular experience. For anyone thinking to trek Mt Batur I highly recommend staying here for a night. My private tour was organised by the Villa on the night I arrived for the next morning. There were very accomodating, assisting and provided great value.

Exact to the images shown, beautiful room and hot spring pool. Staff were very responsive and friendly on messaging, accommodated to our request for extra bed. Clean and comfortable. Staff onsite was very friendly and provided us with hot drinking water even though it was quite late when we arrived. Breakfast was tasty too. They also helped to arrange affordable sunrise jeep tour.

The view from witari is breathtaking. The sunrise and sunset from here is the same as from mouth batur trek. The owner is extremely sweet and helping with all the other arrangements you need. Rooms are big and spacious .

    Excellent view of mount Abang in front of small hot spring pool, and Batur behind. The staff are very friendly and helpful they go the extra mile for their guests. The food is simple menu but made well and with care. UNESCO Geological area go to the museum Geopark Batur it’s free, you stay in the caldera with incredible panoramic views to explore. We walked from Trunyan (indigenous people) village to Kedisan and had wonderful views of the region on very quiet road, I recommend this. Temple Pura Hulundanu Batur Songan is worth visiting we went during ceremony and they had guest dancers and Gamalan players from Denpasar. Wonderfully welcoming people. Fantastic climb up Batur go the long route, less busy & more scenic.

    This place is magical. We stayed in three little cabans. Each caban has its own bathroom. The facilities are very clean and modern. The beds have a full mosquito net around. The Home has its own restaurant, with very tasty indonesian food, and a small bar, where you can have a little cocktail. The pool is amazing. And then a word about the wonderful staff. They were amazing with us. Very friendly and helpful. Gave us some really great tips on what to visit.

    Kintamani is a little village away from the hustle and bustle of the more popular tourist areas. We did the sunrise hike at Mt Batur and it was truly an amazing experience. We went to the hot springs after our hike and it was the best to soothe our muscles after the hike. If you are looking for a quieter area with beautiful volcano views and nature, then I definitely recommend spending some time there. Highly recommend Wayan Kitchen & Bar for a delicious meal and affordable Indonesian wine.

    The facilities at Mount Batur Villa are really clean and well kept. The pool is excellent with picturesque views. Flies are the biggest problem for the area but there is not much can be done about that, given the vegetation in the region. The pre-dawn trip up Mount T Batur to see the sunrise is thoroughly worthwhile, as is the Jeep trip which followed to the black lava site. Had one night out in Kintamani for a meal but other than the mountain trip there is not much to do there. Couple of days there is my recommendation.
