We had a very warm welcome with a free upgrade to a luxury suit. The hotel facilities were exceeding any expectations, we even didn’t manage to use all of them during our 3-day stay. The service is excellent, deserving 6 stars ⭐️ out of 5. The hotel is perfectly located in 3 min walking from Kamari beach while being distant enough from the main promenade.

Brand new apartments with perfect minimalist design of the room, like you would want in Santorini. It was spotless clean. The apartments are close to Fira center and the bus station, yet away from the chaos. The owner was also very very nice. We could not ask for more. Just Thank you :)

We had the great pleasure to stay 5 days at the Klostra Hotel It was a very pleasant stay where the host all the time made sure that we had a nice time at the island. The room was just as we wanted it to be with an astonishing view from the balcony. The hotel is built and decorated with good taste and the pool was also beautiful and we could spend time there at night and watch the view from there. And last but not least: the breakfast was amazing and so delicious and healthy. Very nice coffee. Everything served at the table by the host himself.

A Greek Island Dream

Imagine a typical Greek island with whitewashed houses, blue-domed churches and sloping cliffs, and the chances are that you’re thinking of Santorini. Protectively curving around 4 other islands in its archipelago, this volcanic island has fertile ground bringing forth lovely rosé wine and some of the sweetest cherry tomatoes you’ll ever taste.

High on a caldera shelving into the sea, the capital Fira overlooks the cruise liners plying the turquoise Aegean waters below. North is Imerovigli, home to several 5-star Santorini hotels with fantastic views.

Also providing amazing views is the accommodation in Oia across the bay. Cascading down the slopes, the sea of white here is only dispersed by vibrant pink flowers, blue domes and the brown of ancient windmills, all becoming black silhouettes as the sun sets.

Santorini Airport is on the other side of the island and 2 resorts south of it – Kamari and Perissa – have the best, black sand beaches. However, the most visually impressive is Red Beach at Akrotiri where the stunning red colour of the caldera and sand makes the trek down the rockface well worth it. Just time it right to avoid high tide! Also near Akrotiri are excavations of a Minoan era settlement.

He who looks for faults will find them. We are not like that. Our pool room was so good that we had no need to leave it. The hotel has all kinds of facilities, including a beautiful infinity pool. However, we never used it. From the photos it becomes clear why it is so. The interior of the room is comfortable, beautiful and spacious. The bed was big and firm. Santorini is mostly visited for the view. This hotel has one of the best, if not the best view on the island. You are at the highest location and you simply feel sorry if you turn your head because you have the feeling that you are missing something. Our flight arrived quite early (7.00AM) and the staff made sure we got a room as soon as possible. Speaking of the staff, everyone is friendly, smiling, ready to help with anything and unobtrusive. For those who are interested in the maintenance of the pool, upon arrival I watched how the pool is vacuumed, cleaned and the water changed. Also, the pool has a protein skimmer and is heated. So there is no fear for those more sensitive. Also, the room is far from the eyes of the public and offers privacy that most rooms in good locations do not have. The staff has their own small storage room near the room, and sometimes they passed by us, but they did so quietly and unobtrusively, possibly 1-2 times a day. Considering the limited number of space on the island, that was understandable. It is a 20-25 minute walk to the center of Fira and is not recommended for those with weak knees. For those who want good gyros and don't want to walk to the center, nearby is Jimmys Souvlaki with great food. There is also a supermarket next to it. The nearest attraction is Skaros Rock with the remains of the Venetian fortress. There is a sign at the foot saying that it is forbidden to approach. It should be kept in mind that it is very dangerous, however, that did not prevent us, as well as many others, from climbing to the top. These were the most beautiful 4 days of our lives.

This hotel is literally 5⭐️ hotel but like in a budget. Almost feels too good to be true to be this good in such a good price. The hotel is just a few minutes walk away from Fira town center so really easy to go around even without a car. Room were spacious and clean, even had nice balcony. We even got an upgrade from garden view to volcanic view. The pool was amazing, we spent most of our time there. Breakfast is goooood. The restaurant where we had dinner one night was top notch too! Lots of facilities like gym which we didn’t even use but we did enjoy the little playground for kids. We had an amazinggg stay here. It really exceeded my expectations. The staffs here were the friendliest I’ve ever met in my life! Like all the staffs. from the lifeguard in the pool who greeted us with fresh towels for after swim and donuts for my kids to when having breakfast they would remembered our usual cappuccino orders 🥹 and the receptionist were the best of them all, sooo welcoming and sweetest with our kids. They even gifted my girls stuff duckies which they loveeddd and which is the best souvenir am bringing from Santorini. All in all amazing 👏🏼

Our stay at Kivotos Santorini was excellent! The view was incredible from our hideaway suite and the whole hotel. We had a delicious breakfast every morning that you could choose from multiple options - all very good. The service was second to none. Everything was easy - the front desk arranged private transfers for us throughout our stay and we had communication with them via whatsapp for instant service. When we arrived, we received a very warm welcome and complimentary chilled bottle of wine in our room with other items, and everyone was so friendly throughout our stay. The room was also excellent and was tidied every morning while we were at breakfast. They had an evening service if you wished with a complimentary dessert, too. We really enjoyed our time there and didn't want to leave our suite hardly with the incredible view! I would recommend Kivotos to anyone!

Starting from the room and the view The room is modern and spacious with a spectacular view on the caldera. You will probably get the best santorini sun set from this hotel! The staff are extremely friendly and welcoming The food is tasty, and they have variety of options You have access to a mini market right opposite the hotel so you can get all the things that you need like water , food, snacks, shampoo etc.... The location of the hotel is perfect because you are not in the middle of the crowded areas like Thira or Oia yet you can easily reach there by the nearby bus stop or by car . It will not take much time. Imerovigli has the best restaurants and views in all santorini The hotel has 2 lifts to help in minimizing the use of the steps going up and down. You still need to use stairs but not as much

This hotel is in the top 3 of the hotels I have ever stayed at. It is better than Six Senses, Kempinski, The Ritz-Carlton, and HALEKULANI. Stella was kind enough to help me when I lost my passport. Vangelis was also kind enough to tell me about hotels, rooms, and Santorini, even though I knew nothing about them. There are so many great hotels in Santorini that it's hard to choose, but I highly recommend this hotel.

Close to the airport, but not noisy at all. Not difficult to go to Fira or Oia from here (by car). Clean and tidy room. Nice staff. Everything you could need for cooking. Nice pool area. They will help you with renting a car if you need it. Will also provide recommendations and directions. There's also a free shuttle to the airport if you plan ahead with them. Everything was great! I would stay here again!

In August we stayed in Grace Hotel and what an amazing experience it was in this world-class boutique hotel! We enjoyed our stay to the fullest thanks to wonderful staff, in particular Silvia and Georges who took great care of us all the time! Lazy mornings with tasting-like menu paired with some bubbles, chilling by the infinity pool and enjoying spectacular view is exactly what we needed from Santorini!

White Santorini is in an excellent location! The staff are very welcoming and helped us with everything we needed during our time in Santorini. Our room was clean, unique and comfortable. The "hot tub" was great to have after a day of adventures, to relax and have a cold beer in. Breakfast was delivered to our room daily and had a great selection to choose from.

I stayed 3 nights and managed to do quite a lot, however, I think 1-2 extra days is required to see all there is to offer. I never managed to get to Red Beach which I think I could have managed if I’d stayed one extra night.

Oia is all about the view. Spectacular.

Oia is all about the view. Spectacular. It is packed with tourists for a well deserved reason. It is totally touristy, expensive, but we can overlook that and the crowds because of that view. Finikia, just adjacent is much quieter. Still, Oia is Oia, only one. Very much recommend Roka restaaurant.

It's away from the crowded tourist areas, but still very convenient. Walking distance to Fira ( 40 minutes). It's possible to hike to Oia as well though a longish walk of some two and a half hours. Else, buses from Fira to Oia travel every half hour. Quite a few restaurant options available in Imerovigli itself.

Third time to the island of Santorini. Twice to Kamari. Beautiful beach. Amazing atmosphere. Spoilt for choice for restaurants and things to do. Can be as high or low budget as you wish. The place to leave your life behind and rejuvenate. Solo travel, couples or family get away, Kamari serves all.

A village with bakery, gyros place, souvenir shop & good sized mini market. Walkable to Fura though a noisy main road. Buses good too but more value for money the further you are going. Taxis quite expensive so we walked a lot.

Having stayed two weeks in Perissa, I dare say I know it a bit. It's a great mix of not too big of a town, plenty of groceries shopping spots, Restaurants with some great offers, nice beaches (even though one has to get used to black sand) and cultural spots like a very nice Orthodox Church and some historic ruins if you dare to hike a bit. It's wasn't too crowded either, so if you consider going, do so Early - Mid September.

Akrotiri is a peaceful and beautiful part of Santorini, away from the busy tourist areas. It has an authentic local atmosphere, great views, and easy access to the Red Beach and the famous archaeological site. Ideal for those who love history, nature and quiet holidays.

Liked that it was away from Fira. Fira so crowded. One day 6 cruise ships in Port. We ate 2 nights at Romantica taverna. Traditional Greek restaurant, good food and happy staff. Easy to walk around in you don't mind stairs and uphill. Walk from Fira to Oia 10km, something to do and overview of area.

Awesome local villlage with very friendly locals. Great scenery and views, easy to get around hope you like steps. Breakfast at Penelope’s (not Tiffany’s) was fantastic a bit pricey but great food and great views..

Beautiful village and I’m sure a couple of days would be a better length of stay. On both occasions we have visited we have had only one night there. Good choice of restaurants in easy walking distance. Lovely individual shops.
