Valencia is a delight – from its charming cafés and kind locals to must-try dishes like paella, octopus, churros, and horchata. The city also has plenty of specialty coffee spots with great service, and we could still swim in the sea in early October. The Oceanarium with its dolphin show and beluga whales was amazing, and there was even a city festival during that time, which made the experience even better. Getting around was easy – the buses and trams work great; we even went to the beach by bus and tried the hybrid tram-metro once. The city is clean, extremely green, and full of parks right in the middle of its boulevards. I truly fell in love with Valencia.Guest review byAfroditaAustria - 6.0

Ibis will be the great hotel if it do not have couple of problems. The problem with the location is easy to solve with good working metro. Another problem is more serious. It is the continental breakfast. This option proposed on the hotel's web site only for $7 per person per day. If you decide to purchase it in the hotel after the arrival, it will be cost $11 daily for you. All another required services are regular in the hotel.Guest review byPei - 4.0

It’s place to stop only over night , on the way to somewhere else! Don’t be tempted to visit Paterna its self unless you like being disappointed. No parking, no decent bars, give it a miss and head into Valencia!Guest review byRichardUnited Kingdom - 10.0

Lovely beach which is very clean ,beds and umberellas are a bit pricey, really enjoyed a visit to the castle and the town itself is lovely to walk round and you are very rarely more than 2 minutes from a bar,but i think you need a bit of spanish language knowledge as this isnt the costasGuest review byCarlUnited Kingdom - 10.0

The hotel itself is very good and comfortable but, from our experience as first time visitors in Valencia, it may not be the ideal place to stay due to its location. Taxi fare to/from the city center can be expensive. There aren't too many restaurants close by as most of them are at the city center.Guest review byJacintoCanada - 6.0

difficult to access of main road. no air conditioning in room since it was turned off in entire building, it's November we were told that is what is done. it was hot in the room (25C+) even with window fully open (not safe for children) we left the window open during the night but it was storming, rain and thunder so had to close it. we asked for a fan which we got, but made no difference. had expected better from Ibis.Guest review byyesminSpain - 6.0
Oliva feels like a typical Spanish beach town.
Oliva feels like a typical Spanish beach town. Not too touristy and without the high-rise tower blocks of other areas. In Feb, the beach is quiet, perfect for peaceful walks. The old town has some picturesque spots, but the modern area of town is unremarkable.Guest review byMickiNew Zealand - 8.0
There isn't much to do in El Puig, to be honest.
There isn't much to do in El Puig, to be honest. We stayed there because were invited to a wedding at La Cartuja, which is a very nice place. We took advantage to visit the Monasterio de Santa María del Puig (guided tours during the morning) in the center of town and the Printing Museum, in the same Monastery building. Both were nice. About 25 minutes heading North we visited the Coves de St. Josep, in which you take a boat ride on the longest underground waterway in Europe! And further 60 minutes North, on the coast, the beautiful town of Peñíscola.Guest review byRamonSpain - 10.0

Good beach, wide range of restaurants, large supermarket and retail park. Nice seaside walk through to Canet and beyond. Much more attractive than its status as an industrial town and port. Frequent bus services from the beach to train station in Sagunto, and to Valencia city.Guest review byPaulC23United Kingdom
