- Scored out of 10, guest rating 8.3Very good - What previous guests thought, 3,234 reviewsOf the many hotels on the beautiful coast of Santa Susanna, we chose this one and it was luck! Everything corresponds to a high level and 4* service. The hotel is kept clean at all times. The room can be cleaned every day if you request. But we didn't request daily cleaning. The rooms have enough everything for a comfortable stay. The plumbing is in good condition. Very friendly service at the reception, for any question and at any time. Fun, dynamic animation during the day and live vocal concerts in the evening. Children's club and children's discos in the evenings. Billiard tables and other slot machines for entertainment for every taste. Convenient elevators. The pools are clean, there are several of them on site, including a jacuzzi on the upper terrace. The buffet food is tasty and varied, fast service. Although we only had breakfast, we were always full. Location in the center of the resort, proximity to the railway station, as well as convenient access to the beach. Lots of shops and entertainment nearby. I would also like to note the wonderful sports and SPA complex. We managed to visit there twice. It’s a delight, so many pools with different temperatures, a steam room and a sauna! Real relaxation. An excellent solution when the weather turned a little bad due to rain in early June. Highly recommend for families with children. We felt very comfortable with you, like at home. I really want to come back again. The service and conditions exceed expectations and are fully consistent with the price. We wish you prosperity, see you again!Guest review byOlhaUkraine
- From US$87.86 per nightScored out of 10, guest rating 8.1Very good - What previous guests thought, 3,193 reviewsWe spent 13 fantastic days at your hotel. At first, we were a little afraid reading the comments on the web. The hotel was big and had room for everyone, clean even though it was not a new building. There were three elevators. The hotel is in a very quiet area, the train station is only 10 m away but no noise was heard. We were in room 227, a room with normal space for 2 adults and two children. with a balcony and a great view of the sea and the pool. The room was cleaned every day. The food was very good, dinner mainly because the breakfast was almost the same every day. The dining room is a bit noisy but this was not the hotel's fault, people should be a bit more careful. All day there were activities, especially for children but also for us adults. I enjoyed aquagym every day😂. At dinner there was a mini disco for children and different shows for adults. the beach was only 5 minutes by foot and the sea was super clean and good. the thing that I liked the most about the hotel was the fact that it was not allowed to reserve the sunbeds (and why some people are simply uncultured and did not understand, but the staff fixed this by taking away the towels). animators staff on top. we had a great vacation.Guest review byOrnelaBelgium

The sense of a community from young to old who just enough the many activities together, and the way that family and friends time is valued so highly in their community. We liked the area and the beaches.
We liked the area and the beaches. We were not expecting what we found also because a few years ago we went in the same area (Calella) and we were very happy with the hotel, the food and everything else. At that time we had all included breakfast, lunch, dinner with all soft and any alcoholic drinks included. Unfortunately this time that hotel was booked up for the time we wanted. But Calella is very nice and quite, I will recommend to anyone, but not the hotel we were in this time.Guest review byAnonymous - 10.0

Santa Susanna is a lovely resort, with lots of places to eat, drink and take in entertainment in the various hotels. There are plenty of shops and little stalls along the Boulevard. The beach was clean but the sand slopes sharply into the sea. Good transport links to Barcelona and neighbouring towns. My partner was using a mobility scooter and getting around Santa Susanna was fine as it’s very flat and although we could and did use buses and trains we found this very stressful. Definitely a resort for chilling not raving!Guest review byDianeUnited Kingdom - 10.0
The general problem with the Costa Brava north of Barcelona...
The general problem with the Costa Brava north of Barcelona is the coarse sand. You really need beach shoes otherwise it's uncomfortable to walk around the beach or going in the water with all the stones. Coming out the water is a nightmare without shoes. Also, the shore gets very steep very fast. 3 meters into the water, and you are completely submerged in most places. Completely different from the France side, with the dusty extra-fine sand and family friendly shores around Camargue. Costa Brava is wilder and more for swimmers. Cote d'Azur for safe children bathing. Blanes has a very nice panorama from the Castell de Sant Joan hill. Lots of things to see around also. Arts and history.Guest review byUsebastGermany - 2.0

It's a location that is only suitable for locals and internal tourism, everything is expensive and the restaurants and bars are all serving bad quality overpriced food and drinks, staffed by very unpleasant staff, the general consensus is that the population of Pineda de Mar seem to have utter discontent for English speakers and definitely was made to feel very unwelcome, I wouldn't recommend the town to anyone and won't return.Guest review byAdamSpain - 10.0
Mataro is a fantastic beach town any time of the year.
Mataro is a fantastic beach town any time of the year. I would highly recommend a restaurant called Dem Dik. It is very close to the train station and Ousmane, the chef and owner, is fantastic. His good is great - super flavorful- and he attracts an interesting mix of people from all over. Fun snd laid back place for all ages:Guest review byMamadouUnited States - 10.0
A very walkable town with a fantastic beachfront.
A very walkable town with a fantastic beachfront. Canet de Mar is definitely not a tourist town. Instead, it is a quiet family oriented community. One thing that surprised me and my Argentinian wife was just how dominate the Catalonian language was in this region. The restaurants are fantastic and reasonably priced, and while the menus are in Catalonian most places also had English, French and other language (but not Spanish for some reason) versions available. Highly recommend you visit if you can.Guest review byDanielUnited States - 10.0

El Masnou is easily reached by public transport from Barcelona (R1 train). The beach is beautiful and clean and so is the water. There are a few beach bars as well on the beach which is an added bonus if you fancy a coffee or a drink in the evening. El Masnou has a lovely old town which is worth walking around. There are also shops, cafes, supermarkets and pharmacies around. We felt very safe in the area and would highly recommend.Guest review byMichaelUnited Kingdom - 10.0

Being near the beach and away from Barcelona city was wonderful, however, the costs of the public transport mount up over several days and you need to use busses, trams, the metro and trains to get to places. Loved Sagrada Familia and the park nearby where we sat and ate our tea. Barcelona had so much to see and do and Gaudi has decorated the city with many interesting twists. We really enjoyed our visit and seeing so much of the city. Still lots more to be seen though.Guest review byAllanNew Zealand
