FinlandCozy place and nice atmosphere. Beautiful surroundings. It was quiet to sleep and the bed was great. Breakfast was tasty with porridge and jam from own yard. There were oat drink for coffee. Staff was friendly. Lots of different kinds of birds in the surrounding area.

GermanyWhat a lovely small place! Comfortable beds and a renovated bathroom, which also hosts a washing machine, a big plus. Everything you may find out you need, will be there in some corner or drawer (iron, needle and yarn, scissors, shoe brush, coffee). Many lamps to choose from to create a cosy atmosphere. I loved the outside patio for morning coffee in the sun. Very friendly owner, who seemed to have put a lot of thought and heart into this place.

I was able to get a bus from Tallinn to Risti and the owner was kind enough to pick me up from the bus stop. They also helped me with some translation relating to my family - they were really friendly and helpful! It was a gorgeous spot, surrounded by trees, and the lake and sauna house were wonderful. Great shared balcony spot to sit and watch sunset. They also gave me access to a kitchen to cook in even though the room I stayed in didn’t have cooking facilities. Also, great air con! A charming, historical spa resort much favoured by the late 19th/early 20th Century Russian aristocracy, Haapsalu is faded now but still has an elegant charm. The old railway station (sadly disused since 1995), now a museum, was even specially constructed with an imperial pavilion so that the Tsar and his family could arrive and depart without having to wait with the commoners. The Promenaadi on the seafront is beautiful and the ruined castle in the town centre is well worth visiting.
