Very pleasant town. Good choice of restaurants. Municipal beach within walking distance – 70 crowns per day. For a snack, try the fried carp from the stand by the lake. Bike hire info from the tourist office is out of date. Best bet is to go to the railway station, which hires bikes. This is a cyclist's paradise! There are countless trails that come and go around the complex system of lakes in this region. Each day you can go in a new direction, and come back to the lovely town of Třeboň. The architecture and ambiance of Southern Bohemia is historic but never overstated. Trebon is one of the most beautiful little towns in Czech Republic. It is renaissance marvel, with large Chateau, 3 squares, and landscape full of huge lakes (medieval-renaissance fishponds). Definitely worth to stay. They are famous health spas there.Guest review byMarinCzech Republic
