We went for our friends birthday and the staff were amazing and so helpful. The waitress anthia (I think that's her name) she was fantastic, funny and catered to everyone's needs. The rooms were warm and had everything you needed. The reception staff were also very helpful and friendly. I would definitely visit again but id stay another day to enjoy the surroundings. Troodos is only a 10 minute drive away and I would highly recommend visiting the little market square and also the lovely bars in the village.

Lovely set up of a hotel in this beautiful and picturesque village of Cyprus. Incredible views, great atmosphere surrounded by nature. Great walks along restaurants, cafes, wine bars and historic places. The breakfast had a good variety and the honey they provide is the best! We will definitely recommend it and visit again.

    If you want to experience the most traditional Cyprus, come to this place. The apartment is in a classic country house with a great original romantic atmosphere and design, all at the same time very comfortable and clean. In the heart of the village, in the middle of the narrow streets, it was very refreshing to walk in the morning for breakfast in the nearby restaurant, which also belongs to the host. The breakfast was great, all fresh homemade products (by the way, don't forget to have a traditional dinner here - Cypriot meze, it's an exceptional experience). The employees were very nice and attentive, and the owner one of the most helpful people I have met during my travels.

    A beautifully placed guest house, we really enjoyed our short stay. The views in the mountain are breathtaking, the house and room are also very nice, with wood. The staff was very friendly as well as the owner, the breakfast was copious and delicious! I recommend it if you are going to the mountains, it isn’t far from the Monastery also. We came before the season really started and unfortunately it was raining but if we come back to Cyprus we would definitely go back to Themis house.

    The location is just perfect, in a center of a beautiful historic village, yet very quie, the sound of the river is very comforting. There is lot to see and do in the walking distance. The terrace is very nice, you can sit outside in the sun or under the stars listening to the river. Mrs. Evgeniya is very friendly and helpful, she gave us herbs for tea and olive oil for cooking, as well as advice about the area. There are lots of cute cats by the house.

    Maria was very helpful and accommodating, she helped me feel at ease while I was sick and offered help to find the local doctor. She made very good breakfast and Cypriot coffee in the mornings. She was very nice. The room was very beautiful, I enjoyed having a kettle in my room, with lots of space and a heater to keep me warm. The location in Old Town was perfect. The patios were beautiful and very enjoyable. I felt very secure and safe here.

    The room was compact, but it had everything we needed. We really appreciated the small cooking area, which was well-equipped with all the appliances necessary to prepare our vegan meals. The large fridge was especially useful. We also loved the pool and the terrace table, which allowed us to enjoy our meals outdoors.

    Platres is one of my favourite mountain villages in Cyprus.

    Platres is one of my favourite mountain villages in Cyprus. it has a lovely vibe and many restaurants and cafes to choose from. I recommend Pendeli Hotel for a luxurious stay or forest park if looking for a very budget friendly stay. Petit Palais is one of the oldest hotels in the square and is loved by locals and tourists. EnPlatron is one of my favourite Taverns offering great traditional dishes and live music on weekends. Kaledonia Tavern is also a favourite local tavern so make sure to give it a try Cleopatra Bistro is a favourite for modern dining and deserts and beverages. Beautiful and modern decor if looking for yummy fast food try I Sitzia Tou Mavrou for a delicious Gyros

    Kakopetria is a beautiful destination that combines natural beauty, historical charm, and a sense of tranquility. Its picturesque setting, with stone houses, cobblestone streets, and lush landscapes, creates an idyllic atmosphere for visitors. The surrounding nature is remarkable, with hiking trails like Varkotis and Chromium offering unique paths through green forests and along rivers. The peace provided by the environment makes hiking an invigorating experience. Additionally, the calming sound of the river that flows through the area, like the one you can hear in the backyard of Maritsa Lodge, offers a unique sense of inner peace, almost like the natural white noise of the outdoors. In the village center, the traditional architecture remains intact, with taverns like Podji Poda serving excellent local cuisine, and small cafés welcoming you for a relaxing drink and dessert in the main square.     We love Omodos as a stay over place ie one night. The village is beautiful with a lot of history. In my opinion it’s one of the nicest villages in Cyprus. Full of history too with a small free museum that is extremely interesting. The village is small so you can walk around it in a very short time and it’s so beautiful you really should walk around. For night life, most restaurants and the bakers close around 6.30pm ish. There are a couple of places that open til midnight on Friday, Saturday and Sunday. However I really think this is a gem not to be missed.

    Agros village is a perfect place to escape from busy city life for a couple of days and to enjoy the tranquility of traditional village lifestyle, walk the narrow streets, with beautiful , authentic architecture, meet locals, try local food and of course to recharge yourself with nature and mountain sceneries. Agros is very, very clean and the water is super tasty)

    Pedoulas was a wonderful base from which to explore this area of the Troodos Mountains. It was our first time in the mountains of Cyprus and we wanted to see sites such as Kykkos Monastery, Archangel Michaels church etc. and to do nature trails in the mountains. We achieved these objectives very comfortably from our location and could also move on to the west coast with a scenic (but very winding!) drive back down to sea level:)

    Potamitissa itself doesn’t have things to do.

    Potamitissa itself doesn’t have things to do. However, villages such as Pelendri, Agros, Kyperounta are near by and have plenty of things to do. Do visit the taiakkas winery near pelendri for a nice immersive experience. We enjoyed a lovely dinner in the Symposio Taverna in pelendri.

    Beautiful and well preserved mountain village, people are really friendly and they show love for their place. It is obvious they take good care of it. We had dinner and lunch at two different places and they were both really good. There is also a nice coffee shop with views of the mountains.
