I've always loved Brussels and have visited the city many times in the past. I've lived and worked there, too, so have developed a fondness for the place and its surroundings. Although it can get busy at times, it never feel s 'too hectic' and it's easy to escape the bustle quickly, even in the city, by walking through side streets filled with great Baroque, Art Deco and Art Nouveau architecture or going to a nearby park. As with many large cities it has it's fair share of attractions (Grand Place, Atomium), great museums, art galleries, restaurants, cafes, shops and other amenities.Guest review byAzharUnited Kingdom - 10.0

Lovely place but have to dig out the best places to eat as that is the case in most touristy places. Loads of history with beautiful architecture and very interesting history everywhere.museums were done in an interesting way. Too many churches but then I am not a believer, at allGuest review byWayne - 10.0

Nice places to visit in the city, plenty of restaurants and shops. Sea side is very good and well maintained, very clean. Easy to move around, Tram and train station, all usable with your bank card. Usually plenty of carpark places all over the city. We drove around from here to other city's like Bruge and Ghent and it was fast and it is amazing how they kept the speed limits quite high even in the city. Well done Belgium.Guest review byV - 10.0

We arrived on a Sunday and the taxi dropped us out of town as traffic is restricted on a Sunday jeez indded! It took 30 minutes to trundle our suitcases to the hotel. So, after that initial mishap and feeling like we were in the Truman Show, we thawed and thoroughly enjoyed our 3 days in the city. Lovely people, restaurants and bars. Special shout to De Hoorn restaurant and Malz bar.Guest review byGo.mallUnited Kingdom - 2.0
Our stay was disappointing due to poor cleanliness,...
Our stay was disappointing due to poor cleanliness, inadequate amenities, and understaffing, with malfunctioning air conditioning and privacy breaches. Its inconvenient location led to frequent transportation issues, and unhelpful staff showed little concern despite complaints. Overall, the experience was far from comfortable or restful, and we do not recommend this hotel.Guest review byequbazgiSwitzerland - 10.0

Blankenberge is for my family a special vacation destination. We like it due to the convenient transport, the train stops in the center of the city. The city is not big and has its charm, by walking it is possible to reach each attraction. The tram allows you to go to the other cities and towns located along the Belgian coast. Therefore, your trip can be even more attractive.Guest review byAnonymousBelgium - 10.0
Good choice of restaurants with some posh chocolate shops...
Good choice of restaurants with some posh chocolate shops and good beers. Quite a good range of chain stores and niche smaller shops. Really like its compactness and easy train ride from Brussels. Visit Hasselt tourist centre is about 50m from our hotel Het Menneke. Hasselt Greeters offer free personal introduction to Hasselt. The Japanese Garden, the largest in Europe, is well worth a visit. Best restaurant we found was de Orangerie, sited in a long atrium. Nice menu includes Flemish favourites. Attentive staff. Best bar is Koks&Tales, a slick cocktail bar.Guest review byAdrianUnited Kingdom - 10.0
