Located 10 minutes' drive from Oudtshoorn, AfriCamps Klein Karoo is a set on a working ostrich farm. It was in a great location and the facilities were perfect.

The Retreat at Groenfontein is located on a gravel road, 20 km north-east of Calitzdorp. Free WiFi access is available. Each accommodation will provide you with a private bathroom. Loved the setting, the dam for swimming and the facilities. Great hiking and fabulous flora.

The staff was excellent, with prompt and thoughtful communication. It was my mother’s birthday, and they went above and beyond to make her evening truly special. The dinner served on-site was absolutely delicious, and the spacious rooms, complete with powerful showers, added to the comfort. In summary, this was a unique and thoroughly enjoyable experience. I highly recommend Thabile Lodge and look forward to returning for a longer stay in the future!

Barry took us up the mountain to see the fields that he has been regenerating through regenerative agriculture methods which were very impressive.
