Nguyen Shack Retreat Resort offers private bungalows in Phong Nha National Park. The property boasts a garden and lake view. We have been traveling for four weeks in Vietnam and Cambodia, and this was our favorite place by far. Accommodation was very comfortable and private with beautiful views across the lake. The atmosphere is relaxed and friendly we would highly recommend the shack retreat.

The shower, towels and air conditioner worked quite well. Open space, beautiful views, large swimming pool and always clean. The owner, a great guy, helped organize a tour of the caves, rented scooters, picked us up from the bus station, delivered our stuff eat and always be there to help. Highly recommended.

We had the family room for our family of four which was new, clean and very comfortable. Views were amazing from our room with easy access to the lovely pool. Staff were very friendly and helpful. Location is excellent with ATM and minimart across the road and bakery next door.
