Nguyen Shack Retreat Resort offers private bungalows in Phong Nha National Park. The property boasts a garden and lake view. Wow, this place is amazing. Away from the city shops and restaurants, it is very peaceful. We loved the food here and the yoga classes. Sadly we could do only one. The rooms have a beautiful view of the lake, although they are very basic. The owners and their family and pets are around all the time, making this place feel very homely and welcoming.

Just like all of Phong Nha, there are a couple of crawlers around, but the rooms are super well insulated/ secured so that they don’t ever get into your room.
