Nguyen Shack Retreat Resort offers private bungalows in Phong Nha National Park. The property boasts a garden and lake view. Everything! This place is amazing we had a great stay, the location was perfect we had such a lovely view of the lake from our room and a really nice outside patio area that we could sit out on. The girls who work here are so lovely always smiling and willing to help you with anything, they are a credit to the place. The breakfast was so good, lots and lots of options. We ate here most evenings as well and the food was great! We all really loved the animals on site, dogs, cats, rabbits and some gorgeous pigs 😊 this has been our favourite place to stay on our travels.

The Homestay was clean, convenient and a great location that was lovely and quiet but with easy access to all the attractions. This being said however, the number one thing about this Homestay is the owner - Huy! He went above and beyond with everything from making breakfast, offering lunch/dinner options, as well as helping book tours/transport and anything else you required! I can’t thank you enough Huy. This was one of the best Homestay’s I’ve ever experienced and I can’t wait for upcoming guests to experience this Homestay too!

Had a perfect stay at hill villas, really beautiful location with the mountain view. Everything is taken care of for you like pick up from bus station, booking tours, rent motorbike and even booking my onward travel and order food to the hotel for me after a long day trekking.

Xuan was so nice and welcoming, the property is clean and beautiful with one of the best Mountain View’s in Phong Nha. This spot is also a little further down the road so not quite as touristy which is just what we were looking for. Xuan makes breakfast to order every morning and it’s one of the best breakfasts we have had in Vietnam! Phong Nha has been our favorite so far. Highly recommend!
