The hotel is located in a nice district, in a new building, with all new facilities, very friendly stuff, super relaxing and enjoyable atmosphere. Very happy to choose this hotel because I liked the room - it was super clean, new and fresh, large window, very comfortable mattress, special home like design of the room, everything was functioning well. I need to tell separately about food, we had dinner and breakfast- huge variety of different food for different taste and diet. I am on keto (no sugar, low carbs) & vegetarian- imagine, they got all of the necessary food for those cruel diets, I was able to eat full fledged meal. Also, they have huge variety of non-gluten and lactose free food and drinks. All the food was highest quality and served in a well designed and beautiful hall -restaurant. That was really enjoyable and relaxing atmosphere. From the other options we weren’t able to use and taste were sauna and fika (local coffee), it was very pleasant that hotel included those as free of charge in our stay. So happy to taste those during my next stay with this hotel. Someone wrote that the hotel is distant from Center. I would say that it is nearer than was my expectations. You will need to use public transport, but it takes maximum 30 min to reach to the hotel from the center, and it is not so complicated as you can select from many bus options. And it is not expensive as the single ticket you buy is valid for 75 min, so you don’t have to buy any additional tickets. Besides, before going to Citi center you might also check museum island, we visited ABBA museum, which was not far from the hotel (1 bus stop and 1 stop with boat transport- both were taken with 1 ticket).

The property has inner courtyard views and is 30 km from Karlstad Central Station and 32 km from Karlstad Golf Course. There is a sun terrace and guests can make use of free WiFi and free private parking. I love the animals on the farm. The hosts were great - super helpful! And the house used by the guests is lovely, rustic but modern, with beautiful bathrooms and open kitchen, great for meeting the other guests. Note that Kristina holds classes some weekends to make luxurious throws from the sheered wool of the sheep. Wish I had known so I could have made one!

We did not arrive until after 10pm thanks to SJ railway and the bar staff Jorgen and Rasmus were outstanding as they made a chess and meat platter for us.

Ulrika was super friendly and available for all of our needs! We will be coming back!

Boasting garden views, Linda's Apartment features accommodation with patio, around 50 km from Snötorget. There is a private entrance at the apartment for the convenience of those who stay. There is an outdoor fireplace and guests can make use of free WiFi and free private parking. The place was average - on par with the price. The location is quiet but a bit distance from everything. The wifi is much slower than my mobile Internet, but stable. The owners attitude was not nice at all!

We only stayed one night on the way between Stockholm and our next destination, but we really could have stayed another night! The room was super cosy, on a very nice farm. The bed was so comfortable! And we also really liked the very complete breakfast that was prepared for us. Overall a perfect first stop for our trip, and we would love to come back!
