Set in the upmarket Buna Ziua residential neighbourhood, above the centre of Cluj, Grand Hotel Italia is a palatial luxury hotel furnished in Italian Liberty style. Well maintained hotel with well thought details. Size of the room is perfect, the view on both sides are great. Delicious breakfast, great pool, location might be a bit far from downtown, but we had split stay and explored the city before, thus was not focus. New, spacious, beautiful and comfortable apartment with impeccable cleanliness. The entire building is tidy, spotless, and smells great. Excellent location, just a few minutes’ walk from the main square. Parking is available in the underground garage of the building or at the Hilton parking lot across the street. The staff were extremely kind and kept in touch with us via WhatsApp throughout our stay. We even received a complimentary room upgrade and were allowed to check in early — thank you again for that!

I really recommend this place because has a very good price, location, easy check-in and the host is very kind. The apartment is provided with everything you need, especially if you want to cook your own breakfast and has a free car park. Really good place to stay if you want to visit Turda Salt Mine which is only 10 min away by car or if you want to get quick to Cluj which is around 40 min away. Also Amalia the owner is a lovely person that offers to help with anything that we may need. My wife liked her very much.
