It is a beautiful hotel. Keep in mind that a 4- or 5-star hotel in the Philippines are somewhat lower. This surprised us in many aspects. The best? 1) That the location is outside the center of El Nido in an authentic community 2) The food. I was afraid that I have read that the food is great but is of exact amount. We do not agree with those comments. It is true that it is designed for appetizer, main course and dessert. I believe that the owners are Spanish and Filipino that's why the proportion of the food is according to these cultures. They cook with good water and olive oil and the dishes do not exceed 10$ and it is super quality. We have enjoyed the food and repeated several dishes and wines. 3) The natural environment where you feel really connected with. 4) The private tours crafted just for you 5) Massages are exceptional 6) Game areas and pool offers enjoyment It is a place for the lovers of nature, books and exclusive services. A 10 to staff. We will be back for sure. They only have 7 cottages and as much as we want to stay for another couple of nights, sadly we can't because they are fully booked.

Located in a tranquil and serene location, Playa Encantada Beach Resort offers pet-friendly accommodation in El Nido. The resort has a barbecue and children's playground. We had the best time ever at playa Encantada, the staff went above and beyond to ensure we had a great stay. We took a day trip to Darocotan Island from the resort for 2,000 php, this is definitely worth doing as the sea is crystal clear and there is a ship wreck you can snorkel around. The food served at the resort was amazing and reasonably priced. My partner is fussy but there were 3 or 4 different options including a meat dish, we loved every meal we had. The sunsets at the resort were out of this world. For one day we hired a moped for 700php from the resort and drove into el nido, this was a long trip but we managed fine on our first go on a moped. We weren’t expecting any wifi at all with the remote location, however we managed to get some in our bungalow which was an added bonus.

That's one of the best guest houses I have ever been to. I loved everything about this place, and the owners are just amazing! I felt like I was more than home, the breakfast was just perfect. Unfortunately I can't give more than 10 out of 10!

It is even more beautiful and spacious than in the pictures. We stayed here for like 10 days. The room is beautiful and comfortable. The hospitality is amazing. They arranged a brand new bike for us, ordered pizza’s for us and gave us coffee when we asked for it during the day. The breakfast is really good, even the best we had during our stay in the Philippines and we liked the fresh fruits a lot that came with the breakfast. On the bike it is a like a 10 minute drive to El Nido center. We loved it to stay in this quiet area. Lio beach was our favorite beach in El Nido and it was a 5 minute drive from Casa Buko. Thank you so much to Rose, her husband, sister and Vera for making this place feeling like home ❤️

The staff here were great, very friendly and very helpful, they went out of their way to make our stay as enjoyable as they could. The newly built rooms were beautifully designed. The facilities were also excellent, free scooter which was so handy, the pool was clean and a nice choice of breakfast and coffee every morning. We originally booked for 2 nights and stayed for 7 we were so happy with the accommodation. Its nicely situated between El Nido town and Lio beach. And let's not forget the free daily in-room massage, perfect after a long day out island hopping or the free access to the gym. Highly recommended.
