That was an amazing experiance staying at indigenous community. Clean and cozy villas, nice people were hosting us. They know so much about local nature and can share with you a lot.

Piri's House terletak di Iquitos. Ia mempunyai pemandangan bandar dan WiFi percuma di seluruh tempat penginapan. The host Lidsky give us a warm welcome drink. The house equips with a very clean kitchen, pots, stove, kettle, plates, fridge...etc, so it's easy to make a simple breakfast by ourselves. The airconditions are working well, so it helps us with a humid/warm night in Iquitos. There's no hot water for the shower, but I don't want it, either. It's not far from Mercado Belén.

We spent four days with Liseth and her husband, Will. They helped us with our arrival and picked us up from Monkey Island with their boat. The food was delicious and healthy, made entirely from natural ingredients sourced locally and from their garden. Water, tea, and coffee were freely available. Everything was very clean and well-protected with mosquito nets. In the evenings, we could charge our devices. We also went on various jungle tours, tried fishing, spotted dolphins, petted monkeys and sloths, and chatted with the locals. Everyone was incredibly friendly and welcomed us with open arms. There were very few tourists, making the experience truly authentic. My sister is a vegetarian, and her dietary needs were thoughtfully accommodated. We had so much fun, and our guide Asuco is an absolute expert in flora and fauna—highly recommended! You can even try hunting your own frog and doing Kambo if you like. For anyone seeking an authentic Amazon experience, Liseth and Will are the best choice. I also found the accommodation very affordable. Meals are included in the tours, and you don’t really have to worry about anything. Just let them know what you’d like to see and do. We’ll be back! Thank you, Liseth and Will. See you soon!

Menawarkan pemandangan taman, Guacamayo Azul di Iquitos menawarkan penginapan, kolam renang luaran, taman, lounge berkongsi dan teres. I’ve stayed one week in the wonderful Guacamayo Azul integrating my journeys in the jungle, and seriously, I have no words how amazing this place is! The house is luxurious, huge comfortable main bedroom, fully equipped kitchen where I felt I could cook as if I was back home. The pool is another sort of privilege; calm and safe location, comparing to the rest of Iquitos. Julio, the housekeeper, would help me with absolutely everything I needed - driving me to do buy groceries, help around the house, even accompanying me to explore the local area’s gems so I don’t feel uncomfortable as a solo female traveler. A special thanks to him! The house is massive and would fit a company up to 8 people, but also it’s an incredible stay for a solo person, who seeks quietness and solitude, like in my case. I truly appreciate my time in Guacamayo Azul, and it only leaves me to wonder why it’s not yet fully booked. I wish you that!
