We were greeted by lovely, helpful, friendly people who went out of their way to suggest great places to eat and visit. The room was really comfortable and clean, nicely furnished and decorated. Was a great place to stay, had everything we needed. Host was very accommodating with my last minute booking.

Service and communication with owners were brilliant, they supplied extra goodies in the room at no costs which was wonderful. Would definitely recommend.

The care and attention Jane and Alby have put into the styling, layout and facilities is second to none. The peace and solitude of the Kaitake Ranges partnered with the native birdsong was so relaxing.

We have stayed at this location before and chose it again because we liked everything about it - the location (very close to shops and beach and other locations of interest). Lookout (view) is of the Taranaki walkway beside the coast, so lots of Pohutukawa trees coming into bloom and SO many birds. Our hosts we had met before and again, friendly, helpful and made us feel very comfortable. Thoughtful touches like the large bottle of milk in the fridge, food in the freezer and chocolates. So clean. The garden is wonderful and enclosed by a high fence giving us total privacy. I was quite excited by the electronic gate opener.
