The location was spot on for our needs. The accommodation eclectic with the lodge being an ex nunnery. We were quite comfortable, beds good and showers had great pressure. Kym the manager was great booking restaurants for us and ensuring all our needs were met.

Esplanade Motels offer modern and spacious accommodation with full kitchen facilities, just 3 minutes’ drive from Gore town centre. Staff were lovely . The accommodation was exceptionally clean and was very well equipped. The bed was very comfortable. We were given a small bottle of milk and biscuits , tea, coffee and hot chocolate. This was just an overnight stay en route to Milford Sound but it was made very enjoyable by the staff.

554 Moana Court Motel offers self-contained accommodation with barbecue facilities and free parking on site. It is a 5-minute walk from Transport World, Stadium Southland and Veledrome. Loved the warm welcome we received remotely, as we were checking in after hours. The unit was spotless and very well equipped! Love that there was recycling (something I find lacking in NZ hotels) and that the laundry facilities were free of charge.

The kiwi batch is clean very warm and a close walk to the beach, shop and ferry terminal. The hosts were great to communicate with and very flexible. Lastly the beds are extremely comfortable 😍

Terletak di Gore di kawasan Southland, Southland Farming Retreat mempunyai balkoni dan pemandangan gunung. Apartmen ini mempunyai taman dan tempat parking peribadi percuma. This was the perfect place to collect thoughts, contemplate all the Blessings in life and enjoy the Kiwi countryside. Both Beven and Wendy were phenomenal hosts and I feel like I left as a member of the family. I appreciated their availability and overall pleasantness during the entire stay. Thanks!

Out in the country watching the cows go out to pasture through the mist in the morning. Beautiful flowers and unique trees on the property. Owner was very responsive to questions.
