Both Pascal and the manager Sandrine were incredibly helpful with everything and anything - scooter rental, dive shops, boat trips, trips to the national park, airline issues, local transportation - just a fantastic experience start to finish.

Sun lounges under coconut palms. Local seafood at the restaurant. Hardly any other guests. Affordable for budget travelers.

Different activities, like guided tours to the Lokobe Nature Reserve can be directly booked with the resort. Also very fast internet.

The meals here were actually incredibly delicious, by far the best meals we had in all of Madagascar (and we were on a 1 month trip!). The place was wonderfully curated -- really an impressive catalog of taste and culture that felt like a real luxury, much more so than you'd ever expect from a stay of this price. Pretty much the perfect place to spend some time to relax especially in the sometimes hectic Nosy Be. We would return in a heartbeat. Thanks Jao!

We couldn’t have asked for a better place to stay — highly recommended!

The suite turned out to be a lovely small apartment with a living room, and a separate sleeping area, even had a small kitchen. The workmanship in the suite was extraordinary, the mattress was outstanding, and the views were everything expected from the pictures. I enjoyed getting to know the owners, and Mitch speaks perfect English. I had a wonderful time.
