The manager told us a lot of interesting things about the surrounding farm. We also did a hike to the viewpoint with a guide from the village which was really nice. Accomodation was very nice with good views. Last but not least, we had dinner at the location and it was the best one we had during our entire Sri Lanka trip.

What a find this was. Clean modern rooms in beautiful surroundings with a lovely pool. This is the definition of a hidden gem. You simply must eat here in the evening, the food was the best we’ve had in Sri Lanka and generous portions. We saw a wine store as we drove in ( less than 5 mins drive for those interested), when we asked about available drinks the manager offered to drive and get what we wanted. Breakfast was lovely and they even bought a fridge to our room for us to use. There are sun beds and tables and chairs in the grounds so we spent the evening sitting out watching the sun go down over the paddy fields, simply beautiful. If you are looking for somewhere fabulous to stay between Negombo and Sigiria. Look no further. You won’t find better.

The stay gave us an out-of-this-world experience. The Loft blended in exceptionally well with the stunning beauty of Embogama. This experience was a much-needed detox for our minds as the peaceful environment made us forget the stresses of city living. The meals were so tastefully prepared, and the experiences gathered from going around the village will definitely make us revisit the Loft again and again!

First, we like the people, so kind and helpful wanted to make our stay as best as they can. After, we loved the location, the surrunfings are stunning, green lush vegetation, a palm trees forest, beautiful amenities. We had the full board and we totally loved the food, good options. This location is not comming cheap, but it desearve every money for what it offers. Thanks guys for an unforgetable experience!

A wonderful and comfortable hotel in a stunningly beautiful place on the lake. A spacious room with a balcony overlooking the lake and the sunrise. Delicious food and a pleasant stay. I felt attention and care throughout my stay. Next time I visit Sri Lanka I will definitely come to this wonderful hotel.

Terletak di Ambanpola dan dengan Galgamuwa Railway Station yang boleh disampai dalam 7.8km, Hotel Chanaya menawarkan kaunter lawatan, bilik, taman, WiFi percuma dan restoran. Good value for money. And everything was as it should be. But the best of everything was the owner and her boyfriend who was so friendly and helped me with all my special request about going to rural areas and meet people and seeing the wild dangerous elephants etc. I did a lot of cool things. All I asked for was possible for my YouTube channel adventure-jones. Even though my requests are very special or some will say crazy. But they underwood what I wanted and helped me a lot. Their personalities are pure and o can assure you that it will not disappoint. 10 out of 10 for value of money for the place and for their personality. Thank you so much. You deserve the best !

I recently stayed at this lodge and had a truly wonderful experience. They offered both Sri Lankan and English food, and I must say, the taste and quality were absolutely excellent. Every meal felt carefully prepared and full of flavor. The hospitality was warm and genuine. @Mangala was very friendly, helpful, and always made sure we were comfortable. The atmosphere of the hotel was safe and peaceful, which made it a perfect place to relax and unwind. I highly recommend this lodge to anyone who enjoys a calm and quiet environment, with great service and delicious food in Kurunegala area. Would definitely come back!
