I had a great stay! The camps location is amazing, with the lake in front and the canyon in the back. The drive there through the canyon is absolutely beautiful! There are signs at every junction. 4WD recommended, they can organize a taxi for you. The bathrooms are new, and there are showers too. The yurts are basic but cozy and clean. Food was served on a shared table, which is a big plus for solo travelers. There are nice places to hang around and a fire in the evening to sit together. I went on a horse ride through the canyon and to the lake, it was amazing.

Every meal was bursting with flavor, showcasing fresh local ingredients and authentic Kyrgyz dishes. The dinner was particularly memorable! Another unforgettable part of the trip was the horse riding excursion. Galloping through lush meadows and along the lake’s edge, surrounded by pristine nature, was both thrilling and peaceful. The guides were knowledgeable and ensured a safe yet adventurous ride, perfect for both beginners and experienced riders. If you’re seeking a blend of culture, nature, and genuine hospitality, this yurt stay on Lake Issyk-Kul is a must. I left with a full heart, incredible memories, and a deep appreciation for Kyrgyzstan’s beauty. Highly recommend!
