Beautiful nature. An incredibly calm environment where we only listened to the sound of the wind. Dinner was incredibly delicious and varied. We will not forget the 'welcome Turkey' of my beautiful brother from Yemen who offered unlimited tea flavored with Artemisia. And the Bedouin tea and smiling face of dear Bilal in the valley.

A very nice place with a beautiful panoramic view and stunning sunset. Musa is a very hospitable host — they organized a traditional dinner and breakfast for us and were incredibly polite and helpful throughout our stay. The rooms are unique, built from bricks, giving the place a truly authentic feel. They also offer hiking tours if you're interested.

This is literally the house of waleed’s grandfather in the old village of Dana, which he renovated as a small hotel. The generosity and hospitality and warmth of the family is what makes it so special — I stayed only one night but left with so many wonderful memories. I speak some Arabic, so my particular experience may have been extra special—but I feel like anyone with a heart will feel at home. My day in Dana was honestly the highlight of my time in Jordan—not as flashy as Petra or wadi rum, but absolutely stunning and full of genuine and wonderful people. It is rustic — so if you really need a modern style hotel, this is not your place. But it was cozy and comfortable and warm and wonderful; what more could I hope for?

Everything was superb, the room, the location near Petra Visitors Centre and restaurants, but above our hosts, always ready to help more than anyone would expect. We highly recommend this place. Excellent value for money.

Therefore you really get the Jordanian culture experience! Host provided a guide to take us around Dana nature reserve. Highly recommend this. No real restaurant facilities in Dana so I would request that the Hobbit Village provide lunch/dinner.

First my boyfriend asked at reception (in secret) to surprise me for my birthday and they really delivered with cake and a nice letter. Also asked them if we could have breakfast a little bit earlier so we can go to Petra as early as possible and again they arranged it without any problems.
