The usual classic Italian breakfast of a pastry and coffee. Here we had so much more. The room was great, the bed comfortable and the setting was ideallic. But what we were not expecting was the feeling of being welcomed into the family home. The host gave us a real experience of genuine local hospitality. The evening meal was made with love, every mouthful a pleasure, and the same level of excellence at breakfast. Local delicacies with stories and conversation. Meeting the chef, a local, sharing what felt like treasured family recipes. The warmth of a log burner, and wine to warm the soul. This place is genuine regional hospitality, so much more than just a place to sleep. Thank you Maddelana.

The Pollino house was absolutely perfect! The location and the view are spectacular. We felt welcome from the very first moment. Lucia was super helpful explaining us everything, even giving recommendations for the area (and helped us with parking 🙂)! The apartment has EVERYTHING you may possibly need, the cleaning is spotless and the bed is super comfy! Extra bonus was the homemade pie found when we arrived accompanied by sweets!! Totally recommended, we wish we could visit the house every weekend!!
