Positive thing that late in evening staff found for us place in restaurant, and it is working till late time. Good hot tub, and open till late. )) One of the best hotel in Iceland.

Our hot tubs, which are included in the stay, are located outside, 300 meters from the guesthouse. Very good hotel, worth the price Friendly staff Most importantly, the location is very good, the weather is good.

Rooms are brightly decorated at Hof 1 Hotel and have either shared or private bathrooms. Excellent option for 4 people to stay in one room. Extremely clean and well appointed. Our room have an attached courtyard to sit out in which would have been super cute if the weather and time had allowed. Showers were a great size and clean. Heated towel rack, radiators and hair dryer. Small mini fridge was handy. Restaurant food was ok and the buffet breakfast was plentiful. Best complimentary buffet we came across. Staff were friendly and accommodating and communication was excellent. I had messaged through booking site to reserve for dinner and the response was within minutes! Beds were comfortable and we had a great quiet sleep.

Beautiful hotel in a picturesque setting with a view of the nearby glacier if the weather is clear. We loved the restaurant in the hotel and our service was excellent. This was the only Fosshotel our group stayed at while in Iceland as they were generally more pricey than our other accommodations, but we thought it was well worth it!
