It was very cozy, clean and had everything we needed. The location is perfect for exploring surrounding attractions such as Landmannalaugar or Porsmörk. The nearby bus stop makes it suitable for guests traveling by public transport as well. The hosts responded to our requests very quickly and spared no effort for us. We are very happy that we booked this accommodation!

Welcome to Aurora Lodge Hotel, where adventure awaits! Our complex of 8 charming buildings sits right on the banks of the East Rangá River, just a stone's throw from the Icelandic Route 1 (Ring Road)... The location was perfect for Northern Light viewing (weather permitting and subject to you taking the time to wait and check the sky). Staff were very friendly and helpful. I would 100% recommend this lodge as a stop for anyone traveling in Iceland. This is a little gem.

Easy to get to, and only about 15 minutes outside of Selfoss. This was the perfect place to stay to end my time in Iceland. Also, being outside of the city allowed for viewing of the Northern Lights. Sara was wonderful and I thoroughly enjoyed my stay. Hot tub was a fantastic bonus as well!

We were a group of 7 people and rented two houses right next to each other. Everything was cozy and the houses are well equipped. We loved watching out of the front windows over the wonderful landscape. The communication with our host was very friendly and superquick. We will definitely come back.
