Fosshotel Mývatn is located next to Lake Mývatn, 6.8 km to the Mývatn Nature Baths. The hotels provides free WiFi and free private parking. It was the best hotel we stayed in this year in Iceland. The room is comfortable, and the view is breathtaking. Breakfast is good, with a lot of choices. We also had dinner in the hotel's restaurant, and we were happy with the food also.

This hotel is quietly situated 2 km from Lake Mývatn and 30 minutes’ drive from the Godafoss Waterfall and Krafla Crater. It offers free Wi-Fi and rooms with modern furnishings. Nice, comfortable rooms. Good breakfast.

Location. Facilities - it’s a beautifully stylish little cottage on the edge of the lake. The sheep graze nearby and the birds are sitting on their nests. The apartment is extremely well furnished and has everything you need. Was a wonderful 3 nights there

The common area is spacious and comfy. There are plenty of stuff to make breakfast/quick snack. Joana is super friendly and helpful when we checked in.

Location was great to see attractions as well as groceries. We loved all the interesting old pieces that decorated the home along with the homemade crafts for sale. This is an old building that has been repurposed so it’s unique.
