We absolutely loved our stay! The place and the food were truly amazing - 10 out of 10. We’re already planning our next trip to the Leenane Hotel this summer. It’s also convenient to reach from Dublin without a car: take a train to Westport and then the 423 bus (be sure to check the bus schedule in advance; the bus stop is at Mill st). The rooms offer a stunning view of the fjord!

Standing at the head of Cashel Bay, this hotel is set in 50 acres of award-winning gardens and woodlands. Cashel House offers luxurious bedrooms, fine dining and a private beach. The Cashel house is in a beautiful remote location and in a very quiet private area. The house has this old charm and at the same time nicely updated modern rooms. We got aa free upgrade and really enjoyed our stay at the Cashel House!

On the edge of beautiful, scenic Connemara and with magnificent sea views over Ardbear Bay, this charming hotel offers individually decorated en suite rooms and a superb award-winning restaurant. I really appreciated being able to bring my dog and have her be welcome indoors. The food was exceptional. The staff were unfailingly polite and helpful. The environment was calm and serene. The setting is gorgeous.

We had a lovely stay in this cosy, super clean cottage, it was the perfect base for exploring the area. The homemade cookies were such a sweet surprise on arrival! Beds were really comfy and we loved having a handy coffee machine with pods included. Great location too, just a short stroll to the beach, close to the ferry for the Aran Islands and only a quick drive to the adorable village of Spiddal. All in all, great value for the area. Highly recommend!
