We all sat together every night and talked about our days, our dives, and future plans. I made lifelong friendships. The dive center is everything I wanted, small groups, lots of dive sites.

Even thoug it is simple, it felt luxurious. The table prepared in absolute precise manner, with glasses even polished, the pier enlightened with lightbubls hidden in shells to have that extra soft ligtht and maritime touch, shared bathrooms cleaned twice a day, the coffee table always filled and plenty of hot water. Family really takes an effort and you feel the really love doing so!

This homestay on Besir island is ideally located near several interests spots in Raja Ampat. The place is calm, only two cabins on the water, connected to a village full of charm. The utilities are on the beach, near the owner's house. It's very clean and has everything required to answer basic needs. Regarding the rooms, mosquito net on the bed, fan, electricity at night, blankets, hammock, sunbed and basic furnitures. All the meals (included in the reservation) are served to your cabin, they vary and are prepared by an great cook! So everything is tasteful and good. No connection except if you get a SIM card on arrival at Sorong's airport but deconnection is great. It's easy to communicate with the owner who speaks well English (rare in Raja Ampat) and he tries his best for you to have the best stay possible. Him and his family are super nice and welcoming while respecting your privacy. I came with a friend and we stayed 3 full days, we had an amazing time there and we can only recommend this place. All the activities we've done through them were memorable, we had a lot of fun. Have a good holiday there!

This place looks so beautiful, the family have created such a beautiful, place with shells and driftwood decorating everything, we loved it. The food was incredible and the room was very comfy. The house reef was beautiful and we saw mantas straight from our room! Thank you so much for such a beautiful stay.

The Owner, Paulus, and his Family made us feel at home from the start. The food was great and diverse. Paulus organized daytrips to go snorkeling and see many different sites. The house reef was great for snorkeling and just breathtaking. Paulus even organized the drop off the the next homestay for us.

What an amazing location ! Absolutely stunning. Solo traveler, wanting to discover Raja Ampat, and I am so glad I discovered Gam Bay bungalows, from Pre Covid times. Secluded. Stunning Nature. Water at the edge of your door. The quiet was remarkable, to be able to sit back and listen to the birds, the sounds of Raja Ampat, and in particular, Gam. A paradise lost, and a Heaven found. Last minute decision to go for 4 days from Jakarta. All the 4/5 star dive resorts were full. But I think this turned out to be much better value. Very peaceful over water bungalow (upgraded to one with balcony). Arranged great diving and blue river trip with Olin Dive centre (Milo was a great instructor). And amazing early morning trip to see birds of paradise. Patricia did a great job organising everything though there was some confusion about prices due to being sent an out of date and incomplete price list. Suggest to double check. Well cooked Indonesian food; nicely varied for a 4 day stay. If it was a week I might want something different and a beach. Great snorkelling underneath the room!

The resort is beautiful, the water had different blue and green colors everyday, beautiful sunrise and sunsets. T The food that had taste of love, really we travel a lot and never saw a home made food SO great. The crew took us to the best dive spots we have ever been with security and the diver was super dedicated to give us good experience. Ramdhan helped us with everything we needed and more. We never wanted to live. Finally we will miss our cat friends Puri, Puti and the others. Good location, private bathroom, excelent bed, great food, nothing to worry but enjoy. Amazing snorkeling roght in front of the resort full of fish and colorfuk corals.
