We stayed for one night (but I wish we’d stayed for two nights at least). Porto Kagio is a very small intimate charming little village stretched across the beach of a small cove. A wonderful getaway spot with stunning views on the approach. The owner Panayioti was kind and generous, offering to help with our bags then bringing us coffee on our patio. Our room was charming and well appointed, with a cupboard, a desk, a suitcase rack, and a little fridge. Clean with a comfortable bed. We had a patio with a sea view and we were a short stroll to the beach. Breakfast was served on the top floor patio although the owner offered to serve us on our patio. Breakfast itself was fine although myself I would have liked some fresh fruit too. We did an easy walk around to the point where there is a little church and a stunning view back to the cove. We ate fresh and perfectly cooked fish at Taverna Porto right on the beach. An enjoyable time altogether.

Everything renovated using high quality materials and much thought and care. The bedrooms are spacious and the bed really comfortable. The sound proofing is excellent. No noise from the other rooms. The shower is huge and even has a steam facility. There are loads of little appreciable extras like dressing gown and slippers etc etc. The staff are very reactive and helpful. Special mention goes to Iraklis, the hotel manager. He anticipates your every need and is a very personable person. One of the best accommodations we've ever stayed at! Do it!

This apartment had a spectacular view of the sunrise, sunset, and the ocean. It was located on the second floor and had all the amenities, including spices and olive oil, for cooking. The location was nice because it was just outside of the center of Gythio away from the hussel. You will need a car to get around.
