We had the best coffe on abandoned train station he recomended. Also this guesthouse is so near to the Ancient Olympia site you do not eve have to go there with car. It is less than 10 minute walk. Definetely recomend staying here. Did I mention good breakfast? 🙂

Watching the sunrise between the mountains was truly breathtaking and filled each morning with peace. The room was spacious, bright, and beautifully designed — We loved the harmonious colors and relaxing atmosphere. The house was perfectly equipped with everything we needed: a full kitchen with oven, dishwasher, large refrigerator, washing machine, and coffee machine. Everything was spotless and worked perfectly, making it easy to feel at home. The hosts were kind and attentive, ensuring we could truly unwind and enjoy our stay. It was such a peaceful and comfortable experience — I’d love to come back for a longer stay next time!

Rex is a family-run hotel located in the outskirts of the small town of Zacharo, at a distance of 1 km from the coastal line of western Peloponnese. Large and comfortable room with balcony view. Staff very friendly that helped us to find taxi and suggested to visit Archaia Olympia. Delicious breakfast with homemade cake, pies and freshly prepared orange juice. Decor is unique and very nice. Big thanks to the staff for helping me find my bag that I forgot to the restaurant.
