Gemma left coffee and milk and a pound cake - a thoughtful touch. We did stop at a Tesco for dinner and breakfast items. We found everything we needed in the kitchen. The cottage has some nice views as well.

This is one of the best places where I stayed during one and half month trip in Scotland islands. You need a car to reach it. It's a bit isolated but you get so much. Ann is in charge of this flat, her husband is a fisherman (1000 creels!). She is a wonderful woman who tries to do her best for her guests. And she succeeds. Close to her house is a new single storey house (our flat). Totally new. Living room with a kitchenette and sofa. Fridge, microwave. Sleeping room with a large and very comfortable bed. Large bathroom with shower and also a bath. Toiletries. Large towels. Ann has a good sense for decoration . As it's a bit a bed and breakfast, Ann leaves A LOT of food in the fridge, everything you need for a huge breakfast. And if something is missing, she will bring it. There is a private entry but we can call Ann anytime and she will always come smiling. Large parking. To reach the long beach, you can walk 15 mn or take the car and then walk 5 mn.

Particularly enjoyed their porridge options at breakfast which were delicious. We also enjoyed the share platter one night and then the amazing three couse dinner the next night. Overall a delightful experience, room, meals, and hospitality were fantastic, thank you Sue and Tom. Would come back in a heartbeat.

Great use of a small space, it didn’t feel too tight at all, just right. Comfortable weekend, safe enclosed space for 2 dogs, tastefully decorated and lovely use of local finishings. Nice use of mood lighting too!

Location is very scenic and peaceful yet near enough to local amenities. The house itself was exceptionally clean, has great facilities and is of a high standard. My family really enjoyed our stay here. The host was very helpful. Highly recommended.
