Situated in the spa town of Moffat, Buccleuch Arms Hotel is a former 18th-century Georgian coaching inn which offers free Wi-Fi and a restaurant serving award-winning food. Very comfortable and friendly place. Staff were helpful. Great breakfast and dinner choices. Loved the extra maps and local knowledge.

Their years in the hospitality industry shine through but mostly their passion for providing a pampered Scottish experience reigns. The house is beautiful; the room is enormous with an even bigger bathroom with separate shower and tub. The room boasts extravagant furnishings and an even more extravagant view of the Scottish Border hills. We were greeted with cheerful, kind, words and gestures that are unmatched (and we have traveled extensively). Love this place and Moffat but especially Karen and David; they are true gems!

Chris and Tony are lovely and great hosts , full of knowledge from gretna in the war to the best places to visit and eat. The guest house was spotlessly clean , comfortable and Chris's breakfast was fabulous. The train station was an added bonus , it made it easy to enjoy an evening in Carlisle with the family. There's private parking , lovely walks and it's close to our Scottish family, so we'll definitely be staying again . Just like being at home ❤️

We felt spoilt in so many ways by Mandy & Ange - and our little dog is already missing them and their adorable dogs. We really hope we can return to this very special b&b which is a real gem.
